Does anyone have any information about Tamar (in the Bible; Gensis 38) as it relates to feminism? Or any perspective; this is the text. Google and Wikipedia are massively failing me right now.

I haven't been able to find anything specific for you yet... but I'm looking. I also vouch to talk to my Biblical Hebrew professor on Tuesday, as she is quite knowledgable about these things. :D Phyllis Trible is a feminist biblical scholar. I haven't been able to find anything directly related to Tamar on Google Scholar or Project Muse yet, but if you get the chance to look at some of her work it's pretty darn great. :D

You might try a book called 'Harlot by the side of the road' which deals with Tamar's story in depth.
