Fairy Tail, written by Hiro Mashima (also creator of Groove Master Rave, Monster Hunter), is an ongoing action, comedy, adventure and fantasy manga that has reached 10 volumes after starting in 2006. Running in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha), it is soon to be published in English by Del Rey, with the first volume expected in April 2008.
Summary
Welcome to Fiore, a magical land of adventure where mages, people exhibiting magical powers, have banded together to form guilds, the focuse of which in this series is Fairy Tail, a famous guild known for the outrageous and over-the-top antics of it's members. Focusing on the antics on Lucy, Natsu, Happy, Gray and Erza, we follow them as they travel Fiore completing missions and defeating other mages.
