Ichigo and Karin here, begging for logs for arc 8! Karin is still hanging around in Karakura as per usual, while Ichipants is chomping at the bit to get going to Hueco Mundo. Speaking of, I'm formally requesting a log with Kisuke to get that business all started- we need to get a move on before Orihime escapes without any help! That wouldn't do for the boys' pride, now would it?

I'm really happy to see so many people coming back! Hopefully we can get this place kicking again!

Isshin is still captain of the 3rd. He's lukewarm on the invasion, and has been thinking of agreeing to the deal that Aizen offered oh so many weeks ago. Aizen-mun, your thoughts? It may or may not happen, and I'm just trying to figure it out.

Aaroniero is... Aaroniero. He needs a Rukia or Ukitake to hunt down and torment, but until we get one... well, he's open.

Ulquiorra is, as ever, obedient. He'll welcome invaders with a hand through your chest. Any takers?

In light of the fact that our past two arcs sped by with a lot of people MIA, I'm going to make an exception for the duration of arc 8 and let you guys back-log for arc 7 (and possibly 6 if you have a really good reason). What does this entail?

- Please tag any threads you decide to do for arc 6/7 appropriately, even though it'll be submitted in the midst of arc 8 threads.
- Exceptions like this will not be made for the next arc, so be sure to get in all the actual arc 8 logs that you guys need to!

Hopefully this helps with things that need to be situated before the invasion.

Wonderwice! is cute. And lonely. And godknowswhere, because I fail and have been neglecting his trip with Orihime. ;~; So, um, unless we move that log up (though that might fudge the invasion plot a bit...) yeah, I guess he's grounded in Hueco Mundo. XD; And he wants some brotherly loving! Don't think he hasn't noticed you've been avoiding him, Grimmy! Wondy-kins is very disappointed in you. D:

Aizen! is a sneaky bastard. Did his surrepticious (and sadly neglected by his mun) trip to Soul Society prove fruitful? Is he aware of the current plans for invasion? Arc eight's up! I hope that everyone will be able to get back into the swing of things, and a reminder that you ought to post in the arc by the 14th in order to avoid receiving a strike. Hey everyone!

The description for arc eight is up and ready! Not all of the moderating has been completed yet, as I have a midterm on Monday and should probably be studying rather than moderating the game yet. Apologies for the inconvenience!

What I can say, however, is that only one player has dropped the game so far (Sushi, our Yachiru), and only one player is in danger of being cut (Dawn, our Kaname/Jyuushirou). Cuts will be made at midnight tonight, but in general, the retention rate is really high, which I find promising for the game overall. I'm really glad most of you guys are in for the long haul. ♥

Advertisements will go up tomorrow whenever I decide to take a break from studying.

Hey everyone,

First off, major apologies for how slow the game's been going. I'm still highly invested in continuing this game, as I believe many of you are, but there's no doubt in my mind that there need to be revamps in order for this game to keep on going. Something which I'm fully willing to do, and will be more capable of doing in a couple of weeks.

So here's the deal. The main problem which I see with this community right now is that we have a lot of highly inactive people currently taking up some of the main character spots (or most coveted, however you view it) in the game. There are immense holes in our lineup, and some holes in our plot as well. Therefore, I'm going to ask that everyone currently in the game to give their membership a lot of thought. It's unfortunate that so many of us have been hit by real life in such quick succession, but now's the time to think about whether or not you feel capable of continuing in game. Some questions that you may want to consider:

- Do you have the time to invest in this game? Remember that arcs are monthly plot segments where you need to have completed logs for a majority of characters that you have.
- Are you still highly invested in what your characters do? If you have multiple characters, and haven't been able to bother with some, now may be the time to drop a couple--and remember, you're free to apply for someone else.
- Even if you don't have much time right now, are you still very interested in the plot and passionate about your characters? Remember that hiatuses are allowed, but also remember that taking multiple hiatuses in succession can adversely affect the entirety of the game and set back the plot.
- Are your muses alive?

So what's going to happen?

Starting on December 1st, a new arc will be started, and hopefully activity here will return once more to the cycle that had been here before. I will be lenient with finishing logs from prior arcs, but I will not be so lenient with the start of the new arc, and I need everyone to try to be as timely as possible to bring this game back into gear.

Also, I need to know who's still interested in the game itself. Therefore, everyone in the game needs to comment here, stating whether or not they want to continue in game, and also if they plan on dropping any characters. I will be sending out an email to everyone in the game linking them to his announcement, so "I didn't see this post!" is not a very viable excuse.

IF YOU DO NOT COMMENT ON THIS POST BY DECEMBER 1ST, IT WILL BE ASSUMED THAT YOU HAVE DROPPED, AND YOUR CHARACTERS WILL BE PLACED BACK UP FOR APPLICATION.

I won't be offended if you guys drop. I realize that the school year is busy and hectic, and muses sometimes die out over the course of the year. However, I do adore everyone in the game and really hope that you guys continue--I cannot apologize enough for how haphazard the past couple of months have been, but I assure you that I will be maintaining this place a lot more closely, which should make it more fun for everyone.

Advertisements will be posted on RP communities come December 2nd, in hopes of bringing new players in.

I've been here the whole time! I swear! >.>

I want to apologize for my sudden and extended absence - I admit that I lost interest in this game for a while.^^;

HOWEVER - the sudden completion of my log with Ken-chan and Ichigo (♥ Britt) prompted me to take a look-see again, and my interest has been sparked once more.

SO! If anyone would like to oblige me with a brief summary of plot-stuffs while I've been gone, that would be excellent. I think I've got the gist of it from the timeline, but it'd be nice if someone could flesh it out for me, pretty please? ♥ I'm especially interested in those up-in-the-air plans about those people venturing to Hueco Mundo.

And once I've got that (or even before), I'd like to pimp Yachiru out for plotting and logs. I need to finish the Jyuushiro log and my log with Renji and Chad, so if we could get on that, that would be sweet. I'd like to start some new ones too, so just give me a holla either here or via IM.

As promised, I am back, and I've updated all of our information, compiles, and so forth. Hopefully, once I start my advertising spree, we'll get some people to fill those much-needed spots of ours (Rukia, Kira, Byakuya, and so forth)!

Hey guys, sorry for totally dying out these past few weeks, but Harvard totally clamped down on my ass and it still smarts.

But guess what? I'LL BE SPAMMING THIS COMM WITH THREADS COME FRIDAY. JUST YOU WATCH. And maybe some earlier.

I know that fear_borne has been slow as of late, as I think all roleplays have been (at least, all of those which I'm currently a part of), but I will definitely work very hard to keep it up. I really like where our plotline is going, and I'd really love to see the place flourish until the end. Expect advertisements and revamps of sorts!

So long as I don't die before the weekend, that is.

SO, WANT TO HEAR A FUNNY STORY?

Sure you do! Once upon a time I read through all the logs of the previous Ishida and was blown away by the stunning word economy, the bewilderingly amazing grasp of his voice in his self-important little speeches.

Then I applied with a sample that took up two comments with absolutely no verbal words. Yup.

U-UM, HI! I'm Jules. I, uh, am a little terrified of filling those shoes. But I'm pretty thrilled to be a part of fear_borne! And pretty much open to every and any plot or character you'll throw at me (even if, uh, Ishida may feel differently).

Though I sort of have three papers to write. Two of which are kind of overdue. And I'm a little lost. With Ishida. And stuff.

So, um, bear with me~ ♥

A few things to note this time around. They are important, so please read through them carefully.

1. The current arc will be extended. As of right now, it is anticipated that the arc will be extended for a month, although this is only an estimate, and will be lengthened as much as necessary. There were many factors that went into this decision, although ultimately it boils down to the fact that we've lost some key characters as of late, characters that would be necessary in plot as it stands right now. Until we get some of these characters back, logging is still encouraged, but there will be a bit of leniency as far as posting goes. An announcement will be made as soon as an actual decision on the arc length is made.

2. Some people have joined the 110 Forums, in the Fear Borne section, but not everyone, and no one has replied to the large plotting threads yet. Please, whenever it is feasible, try and give your input as to how you plan on having your character(s)'s plots pan out--or, conversely, if you need help with getting your character into plots.

3. Unfortunately, we've had a couple of people drop from the game--Lucinda and Jordyn, we'll miss you! Altogether, drops and cuts have resulted in the following characters being open for application:

- Asano Mizuho
- Kira Izuru
- Kuchiki Byakuya
- Kuchiki Rukia
- Kurosaki Yuzu
- Madarame Ikkaku
- Soi Fong

Since many of these characters are deeply mired in plot right now, applications for them would be wonderful--please encourage your friends to apply! Or apply for them yourselves!

4. Recently, there has been a new game which has opened, borders_line, which has taken not only the concept of fear_borne, but has taken many of the rules and various things verbatim from the game. While the name of this person shall not be revealed here, this is a serious broach of trust, and the person has been removed from the game. I don't know whether or not people realize it, and I know that certainly I've been absent more than usual as of late thanks to school, but I have poured hours upon hours into this game, into its creation, and into its maintanence. Having things stolen so haphazardly and on an apparent whim is not only insulting to me as moderator, but it hurts. It's offensive, point blank, and had I the time right now, I would send an email straightaway asking for the game to be taken down, at least until major renovations are made so that it doesn't look like such a rip of something I've poured my heart into.

5. Because of both this and academia, I will be taking a personal hiatus until sometime late next week, after my first wave of midterms is over. I apologize immensely for the inconvenience.

6. To end on a good note, we've had two new players since the last mod post! Nanao-mun has already posted, but we also have a new Ishida! Much love to both, and I hope to be logging with the both of you soon! Lists and such will be updated accordingly.

I need logs for Chaddy, preferably characters I haven't RPed with yet. I'm not sure about going to Soul Society since he's a ryoka and all, but any runaways of HuecoMexiMundo and/or Karakura residents are more than welcomed.

A battle with an Arrancar might be nice... Chad needs to get stronger.
