Favourite Songs - Enliven the Soul!

Favourite songs is a livejournal community, where you can upload whatever song you're loving. If you abide by the few rules listed below, hopefully we shant run into any problems.

1. All entries are to be locked as friends only!

2. In this community, I encourage you to upload whatever songs you're currently digging, BUT please be a little selective. For example, dont' upload the entire Led Zepplin discography just because you can. I'd prefer if you just select songs (or occasionally albums) that really stand out to you.

3. Don't feel restricted by genre. If you like rap for example, then upload it. Everyone has different preferences!

4. Similarily don't feel restricted in what you upload, based on the previous popularity of a song. For example, if you like "Green Day - Boulevard of Broken Dreams", despite its popularity maybe there's someone on the comm who hasn't heard it yet.

5. Please try to pin down the genre(s) the song adheres to. If you're unsure of the genre, or if its an eclectic mix of different styles, then just write down that much. Also if the song hails from a particular country of interest, feel free to write down that factoid as well.

6. If you feel like writing comments/posting ratings on the songs you upload, than its your perojative.

7. Don't make fun of people for their lack of taste in music. First time you get a warning, second time you might be booted.

8. If the song has *extremely* explicit lyrics, then please post a warning. It's the polite thing to do!

9. I encourage you to upload music from any nationality! However...

10. This is not exclusively a Japanese music upload community. This warning might be chastized, however somehow I can see many individuals flocking here to do only that. For the record, I like Japanese music, and you're perfectly welcome to upload it; just please upload other things as well.

11. Try to comment at least some of the time.

12. This is NOT a request community. If someone uploads something you like, you're free to kindly ask where they obtained their music in the comments section. Any entries centered on music requests will be deleted immediately.

13. For the sake of legal formality, I'm required to tell you not to keep a song on your computer for longer than 24 hours. Whether or not you abide to that rule is up to you.

14. All entries should related to either introducing yourself or uploading/recommending music; please not entries with advertising, spamming or music requests.
