Ok, this is the last one this week, I promise...  Ok, at least until Saturday when we go out for my b-day!

I took this pic last night when I was trying to decide what I was going to wear today.  

My 2nd or 3rd or something cousin had a baby last night, so my mom and I will venture up to the hospital to see the new tyke this evening.  I wanted to have something on that would look fairly conservative and "me" and cute!  These people are wonderful, but can be slightly judgmental too.

So, anyway, this is what I'm wearing today, but thankfully the sweater is a little smaller today, thanks to a wash and dry (against the label recommendations!) last night.

My father passed away on Friday. We're having a viewing on Wednesday, and I have not been to one in more than a decade and have no idea what's appropriate to wear. It's a fairly non-traditional Buddhist ceremony.

From poking around on the web, it seems like black, gray, and white are all traditional, and all of them are good colors on me (as long as it's dark gray). I'm a size 28; tall; strawberry blond, pale skin, and hazel eyes.

ETA - Thanks everyone. I'm not very comfortable in dresses and skirts (and own very few), so I was a little worried that I'd need to buy one for this. But now I think that I'll go with a white tunic, and some nice black slacks I already own for work. He commented once on me looking pretty in a similar outfit, so he'd approve.
