Lap Swimming & Other related atrocities
I've started swimming again and did lap swimming the last couple of days and also the Aqua Mixx class at my healthy living center.  I'm in love with swimming, but as us fatties know, finding a good swimsuit is difficult, if not downright impossible.
I recently bought this swimsuit from Just My Size and while it's a good swimsuit for lounging around (and cheap and fits, which is more than I normally would ask) it just doesn't work for lap swimming or water aerobics.  My "girls" are hardly supported and I doubt the 60 year old male swimmer sharing the lane with me wants to see my cleavage flashing at him as I rise out of the water in a breast stroke.
So, the question is this: Any fellow lap swimming fatties out there who can share their insight on a good, durable, full coverage, lap swim suit?
Any other advice for a fat lap swimmer just getting started?
I have one more question about the hair down there, so I'll put that under the cut. What in the world do you do for bikini line bumps and redness?  I've been watching the swimmers and gymnasts at the Olympics and they look like the day they were born!  I've always had sensitive skin but I think that being fat and having things rubbing right against that bikini line all the time might contribute to redness and bumps.  What to do?!

This may be a bit too personal so I am going to put my questions under an LJ cut.

Make up fashion
I hope some of y'all won't mind filling out this poll about make up. A friend and I are working on producing a video blog about make up and I want to make sure that we address a wide variety of make up concerns. There has been a lot of make up discussion in this community, including how female-identified fat people are not taught or expected to wear make up and how application can be different on a fatter face versus a thinner face. My partner is thin but I am totally fat and would love to bring some of that to the "show."

Some of you may have already filled out a similar poll in my personal journal - THANK YOU. And I'm sorry you are seeing this again, but if you have anything to add, I'd love to hear it.

ETA: Someone asked for clarification on the "fat-related make up application" and I wanted to clarify - I think most of the tips for fat people who wear make up are totally bogus. A lot of them have to do with contouring the face to look thinner and, while some contouring is totally hot right now for every face, contouring the face to look thinner exists mostly to sell product. Also, every face is different, of course, but what I have seen a lot of people talking about is that their faces are rounder than the models and make up artists that demonstrate make up application and they aren't sure it will work for them. So, really, fat-related make up discussion mostly involves debunking the crap that gets fed to fat make up wearing people and bringing the discussion around to making make up fun and awesome on any shape of face.

Another ETA: Livejournal seems to be wonky with polls. If you are seeing an invalid poll message, I promise, the poll does work and other people have filled it out. If you are interested, just hit refresh and it should load. Thanks!

foot fashion help!
i have so many great pairs of sandals, but money's tight and i don't want to splurge on a salon pedicure, and it's been far too long since my last one. i'm pretty flexible, but i'm also pretty fat with big boobs and a big belly, so getting close enough to my tootsies to shape and paint them well is a task. do any of you have tricks you use to make home pedis easier for fatties?

thanks, all!!!

Makeup/Skincare questions:

I recently splurged and went to MAC and got them to help me choose a lipstick that looks good on me. I love the lipstick but i rarely wear it because my lips are ALWAYS dry. I finally found a great way to moisturise them, but then all the previously dry skin turns white (into pasties) and my lipstick gets stuck under the loose wet skin and looks uneven and basically, my lips never look good whether or not i'm wearing makeup. Any suggestions?

Also, what products do you use for your skincare or makeup? how often do you use them? i'm trying to come up with a good skincare routine, especially since pregnancy has made my acne return with a vengeance. i was never taught as a kid how to apply makeup etc and i always struggle with powders, coverups, blemish sticks, etc, i dont know what they are and what to do with them, though i do wear makeup regularly i need some advice. And things like eye liner, my skin is really oily so i find it sludges off half way though the day and is uneven or all stuck to the upper lid of my eye. Basically makeup drives me crazy!

It's one of those days where i wish i had a supermodel skincare expert to get me ready everyday!

Inspired by another post...
I know we've had a daily makeup thread, but I don't think we've had one about our skincare routines (but correct me if I'm wrong). I've been fighting with my skin for half my life, so I'm curious as to what everyone else does.

How old are you?
What's your skin like?
What's your AM routine?
What's your PM routine?
What product do you love?
What product do you hate?
Do you have any advice for people re: skincare?
