In search of an Old Navy dress...
I am desperately in search of this dress. It was part of Old Navy's collection in Summer 2007 and was available in four colours - purple, turquoise, black, and grey with black patches. After buying the dress in turquoise and realizing it was the most comfortable thing ever, I promptly bought it in all three of the other colours (ridiculously cheap in ON's end-of-summer sale, bonus!), and lived in the dresses through the end of my summer music festival jaunts last summer and the start of said jaunts this spring.

However, because I have worn them to death and because the one unfortunate thing about them is that they do shrink considerably (lengthwise) on first washing (even in cold water, sigh), I am looking for replacements. Does anyone have the dress in an XL or XXL in any of the colours and is willing to sell it at a reasonable price? Or can anyone find any on eBay? All my searches have been grand failures so far.

I have at least three multi-day music festivals still to go this summer and would be very happy to have The Dress to throw in a bag and go!

any big bad biker mama's/daddie's out there??
Hubby's planned for the 2 of us to escape on a poker run. I've never been on a "biker" outing. No major clubs, simply a benefit for a scholarship here in Oklahoma. I know that I will need major sunscreen because I am Casper's big white cousin LMAO....but what kind of top will make me fit in, being a bigger lady?
I'm wearing a sleeveless babydoll type top to the pre-run party with jeans and tennies. We do get a run tee shirt, but I definitely don't want to do a 150 mile motorcycle ride in a black crew neck in Oklahoma during July.
What do bigger folk wear for these things?
I did look at pics from prior RatRides, but all of the chicas are skinny minnies, so it was very little help to big happy ol' me.
Hellllp. I don't want to stick out like a sore thumb!
I have about a week to plan. Also....I do plan on wearing full length jeans and would prefer at least a cap sleeve....road rash is no one's friend.

Thank you all,
Carol

Outfit of the baptism and wedding dress
Hello!  I'm mostly a lurker around here, but I had to rave about IGIGI's brushstrokes dress. I bought it in green and I looooooove it. I've never tried to look girly or pretty due to some, well, issues, but I'm trying to work past that and find that ever elusive thing called self-love.

 Thanks for reading.  :)

Can a Fatshionista in Italy (or soon to be in Italy) help me out?
I love buying regional beauty products when I travel, but sometimes I find a product so mind-numbingly great that I want to use it all the time, then can’t find it in the U.S.

This is one of those occasions. Can anyone who lives in Italy or might be visiting there this summer pick up a few small, easy-to-transport bottles of this awesome nail product for me? I don't think I'll be back in Italy for a few more years, but I need more of this stuff for myself and my family.

Fat-Friendly OB in DC Area? (Preferably NOVA/Alexandria)
(This isn't fashion-related, but I value the opinions of people in this community, and I'm hoping you all can help.)

I am a newly-pregnant fat chick, and I need an OB! My GYN doesn't deliver babies, and we've also just relocated to the Alexandria area. Does anyone have a doctor that they like and would recommend? This is my first baby, and I'm looking for a groovy, open-minded doctor. Help!

Thanks. I am a new poster to this community, but a long-time lurker, and you lovely people have changed my whole life!

Seeking ...

Black linen pants. Not capris, not shorts, pants. Preferably wide legged and petite, but I'll take what I can get, at this point.

They were all over the place, last year and now all I can find are capris, and beige or khaki striped pants. Not at all what I'm looking for.

Looking for something in a 22/24?

Need Help on Surprise for Boyfriend
Hey Everyone!

Need some assistance on a surprise I'm working on for my boyfriend I need to find a website that is either Canadian or will ship to Canada that has "school girl" costumes :)

I need one that's a size 22 or so.. want it to be traditional ie.. red black skirt. I've found a few sites but nothing with either stock or that will ship to Canada.

I know that they must exist.

Help!!!

FASHUN ADVICE PLZ
Hey, y'all. Anyone feel like helping a girl get dressed?

So, it's like this: about 2-3 years ago, I began endeavoring to look more fashionable. At the time, my uniform was basically: slightly baggy sweater, boot-cut jeans, and tennis shoes. I decided I wanted to look a little sharper, and get in touch with my femme self.

Now, in the present time, it strikes me that I've hit another fashion rut. Except this time, my uniform is: wrap/surplice shirt, knee-length skirt, black boots or flats. Occasionally, a colored camisole with a black cardigan. A lot of black. Slightly more fashionable than my old wardrobe, but for the most part pretty boring.

I want a change. Thing is, I don't know what flatters me. I know that what I usually wear works with my body shape pretty well, and I'm afraid to change a winning game.

This is where you come in. What other kinds of clothing would you more-fashionable types suggest for me?

Photo and specs in here. )
