On Saturday two friends of mine had a beautiful outside wedding and a reception at a funky art gallery in Oakland, CA. All of the guests were instructed to wear white, with costumes being encouraged. Only my great friend fairyarmadillo and her husband wore costumes, but it was still neat to see the sea of white, nonetheless. With my everyday wardrobe containing 85% black, this was as white as it was going to get for me:

So I have been doing a lot of shopping recently, especially for accessories to jazz up and mix up the clothes that I do have. My favourite accessories have got to be scarves, closely followed by earrings. A scarf can do so much for an outfit! These are all outfits I've worn at some point recently, but I took all these photos this morning - I'm really bad at taking photos on the day.

Hello, hello! Well, I graduated this weekend, and I wore one of the dresses I posted last week. I bought some new shoes last Thursday from Payless, and I wore those with my graduation dress. Today I went out for farewell sushi lunch with my boss and some co-workers. I wore the same dress, but with some flats that I snagged from Payless today. I think I <3 them.
