About

The Fat Girl Club is a place where women of all sizes can celebrate their bodies. It isn't a rating community but simply a place to find acceptance. This LJ community is a forum for the FGC website.

Trolls and the like will promptly be banned, if this becomes a problem membership to the community will become moderated. Please be considerate.

What's acceptable: Stories; announcements for local gatherings; pictures of your favourite big celebs; conversations about movies, television shows, and music by/about fat people; artwork; fashion; use your imagination! Anything that features size acceptance is alright except...

What's not acceptable: Nude/pornographic images and/or links to websites featuring such material unless it is under a cut with a clear and bold warning. There's no age restriction on the community (save LiveJournal's official age restrictions) and we'd like to keep it clean if we can.

Business promotions will take place the first friday of every month. Promotions taking place at any other time will be deleted, repeat offenders will be banned.

All images or exceptionally long posts need to be put under an LJ-cut. Check the FAQ if you don't know how. (link opens into new window)

We do not discriminate against race, colour, religion, GLBT persons, etc...etc... Standard fare, people. Be nice.
