| About: | Are you tired of mosh metal, oodles of '88 ripoff bands, and glossy hype bands? Sick of fights, tough guy bullshit, and kickboxers taking over the dance floor at every show?
Here's a community for those of you who like FAST HARDCORE, but it's more than that. It's for those of us who want to bring FUN, REBELLION, GENUINE POSITIVITY, and CIRCLE PITS back to hardcore. Those of you that haven't forgotten that hardcore started out with PUNK NOT JOCKS OR BOY SCOUTS and that straight edge means thinking for yourself, those of you that still care about DIY, those of you that got into punk and hardcore for the RIGHT reasons, those of you that didn't fit in anywhere else, and those who still remember the excitement of discovering something new. Oh yeah, and those of you who remember that this isn't a fashion show.
What you can do here: discuss shit, promote tours/shows of bands in the vein of those listed as interests, trade tapes, basically whatever the fuck you want as long as it relates to fast/DIY hardcore/punk in one way or another. Tell us what it means to you, address concerns, vent, rant, whatever.
A few of things that should be common sense, but apparentally are not:
1) This community is not for your screamo/mosh metal/tough guy stuff, so stop posting your crap here. Members of FSU and Courage Crew can inquire within for my address and what shows I go to.
2) I hate PC zealots as much as the next person, but I'm not gonna put up with blatant racist/sexist/homophobic bullshit in this community. Take that shit and join the marines.
