After establishing that the domain name has expired and that they can't retrieve my account details, IPB has asked me to set up a new domain account so they can 'push the domain onto it' so I can renew it. I'll admit to being a little fuzzy on technical specifics but the new account is created and we're just waiting on them getting it set up (I'm not sure what time it is in the USA but they're usually quite quick to respond).
In the meantime, I did try installing our cbox here (I know javascript isn't enabled but I thought an iframe would be fine). Doesn't work, sadly.
So instead, I put it up on my own website
here. Now, unfortunately, the members who don't already know about this blog or my personal LJ won't know about the backup cbox either. So, I'd like to ask, if you're in contact with any of them via IM or whathaveyou, please pass on the details to this community. Anyone can post here (non-members are screened, though, so don't worry if your message doesn't appear straight away). :)
I can't say sorry enough. If it's any consolation, I've added "renew domain" to my googlecalendar as well now so hopefully this won't happen next year. <<;
