Summary: Faramir and Eowyn after the whirlwind romance. Told entirely from Faramir’s POV.
Author’s Note: Well, my Muse got somewhat carried away, so this turned out to be a little longer than I anticipated! Half of it ended up being more or less a Faramir character study, but there is definitely lots of Faramir/Eowyn het too! First person is also a bit of a departure for me, so I hope I captured Faramir’s voice. The title comes from an E. E. Cummings poem, since feeling is first. I know you asked for something a little more specific little_dwarf, but, well…the Muse has a mind of its own—I hope you enjoy this anyway! =) And big thanks to arahiril for her quick and thorough beta!!

Hello everyone!!

To those of you who have submitted your fics already, we'd like to thank you very much for your submission!! Surprisingly enough, 2/3 of our participants this round have requested extensions - we'll have to adjust our timing accordingly next time. Due to these delays, we will not start posting fics until tomorrow, June 12 - and then we will post one fic per day, in the order in which we've received them. We decided to wait until Thursday to begin posting, so that enough fics should trickle in at various times to allow for about one week of continuous posts. We hope that you'll read and give feedback to each participant!!

Author’s Note: Since I could find no information on this time in Faramir’s life nor much on the Ithilien Rangers, pretty much everything about the company and how they perceived others (and vice versa) has been fabricated by me. This fabrication was probably the hardest part about writing this, and I take full blame for any discrepancies that might be present, and I apologize in advance on their behalf!
