AboutWelcome! This community is a weekly online sketch group for fantasy and science fiction artists. Anyone can join and artists of all skill levels are very welcome :)! The aim is to have fun and practice your art in a supportive environment. The group works like this:
1) Every Monday a new topic will be posted, for example 'bird and frog hybrid', 'sea horses', 'robot woman' etc.
2) You can then depict the topic in any artistic medium you like as long as your creation has a general fantasy or sci fi feel.
3) The time you spend on your entry is completely up to you - it can be anything from a quick sketch to a finished masterpiece.
4) When your entry is finished post it (in a new post) to this community with, optionally, a few details about the medium you used and what inspired you. To post you will first need to be a member - to join click here.
Image and File Sizes: Entries should be no larger than 800 pixels at the greatest width / height, and no bigger than 250kb in file size.
Constructive Criticism: Constructive criticism should only be given if someone specifically requests it.
How Often To Post You can post to the community as much or as little as you like! You can even post multiple entries for the same topic if you want to.

How to post your drawings
Once you have joined this community you can post to it by clicking on the "Post" link to the right of your user icon (in the top left corner of the screen).
You'll be taken to the 'Update Journal' page where you can post your drawing, and down the very bottom of the screen you'll see a bar with text that says "Post to:" next to a drop-down box.
Click on the drop-down box and you should see 'fantasysketch' as a journal you can select. Choose this journal from the list, and when you've finished your post click "Update Journal".
The post will be sent to this community and you'll see a page where you can click a link to view the post you've just made.
