LiveJournal has many fantasy-oriented communities, but most are quite small and deal with specific books, authors or films.

fantasyclassics is for all the 20th century fantasy books and movies you loved as a child (or wish you had discovered earlier) and still love, even though on the outside, you look like an adult. - Any 20th century fantasy book which has been in print at least 25 years.
- Any 20th century fantasy series of which the first book has been in print at least 25 years.
- Any fantasy film based on a 20th century book which has been in print at least 25 years.
- Any fantasy film not based on a book which has been in circulation at least 15 years.
* These are only guidelines, and violations will certainly not result in ejection from this community.

- R: Lots of swearing, violence, and/or "onscreen" sex. Ages 17+.
