fantasy_crit!The purpose of this community is to serve artists of all skill levels in their endeavors with fantasy art. What qualifies as fantasy art here? Characters, environments, etc that you cannot find exact reference from in real life (humanoid-type subjects are also welcome, as well as natural-type animals. We focus on fantasy subjects but everyone needs a little help every now and then.).
In short: Post your art and we will critique and redline it!
Community Rules
1) Images that fall under at least one of the following categories MUST go behind a cut:
a) Pictures that are 450 pixels or larger
b) Multiple pictures
c) Nude (artistic or otherwise), offensive, or "PG13" material. These also must have a brief warning before the cut.
2) When leaving critique, be sure to say at least one thing that you LIKE about the image. Don't just go on a critiqing spree. Artists need encouragement too.
3) Flaming, trolling, or just plain rude behavior is not tolerated. A member causing trouble that disrupts the community will be given ONE warning. If behavior is continued, the lil' rascal will be permanently banned. If you feel that you've been shat upon by another member, please either take it up with them OFF the community, or contact the lovely and magical maintainers with your grievance.
4) If an artist requests redlines ONLY, please respect that and include a redline with your reply. Same if an artist requests no redlines, just critique.
5) Just because you feel someone is not as good an artist as you does not make their advice worthless. Be grateful to anyone who takes the time to help you out. We are of all skill levels here.
6) Ultimately, it is the artist's choice on what advice to take, and what advice not to take.
7) Respect and obey the maintainers! Or else. ;)
