| | McFly - "I Wanna Hold You" | ] | Author's Notes: This was written the other day at work when I accidentally misplaced a two dollar coin. I was kinda bored and so decided to write a story about it for the girls in Cash Office. It now has pride of place on their pin board. Hehehe. I found the coin in the end as well--it had somehow gotten underneath the five dollar notes...

| Angkast [Part Four] |
[Feb. 7th, 2006|09:05 pm] |
Author's Notes: This was actually written a looong time ago, but since then I've just been putting off editing it. I guess it's 'aged' enough, so here's the unedited version for your reading pleasure. Enjoy!

[Jan. 27th, 2006|09:57 pm] |
Author's Notes: We'll it's been a while in the making, but at last I am pleased to present Part Three in its entirity! Hurrah!! And how the plot thickens... Kinda. Hehe.

| Dark Shadows [Chapter One - Part One] |
[Jan. 27th, 2006|09:53 pm] |
Authors Notes: Yes, yes, yes. My labour of love. The novel that will never be finished, no matter how much I write. I am at least trying to get the first chapter finished so I can chuck it up here in it's entirety and get some reviews and see what everyone thinks. Unfortunately, I've been so busy with its sequel lately, that I haven't done much. ><;
Have finished this part of the chapter now. It still has a tonne of mistakes probably, but eventually I'll edit them out. Hope it is a little less confusing now. I think I ended this part a bit hurriedly, but I justed wanted to get it out. In other news, thanks for Kath who beta read this for me. *huggles you*

| Mirror of Me |
[Jan. 27th, 2006|09:50 pm] |
Authors Notes: Oh I love descriptive scenes. I spend too much time writing them, when I should be writing other things. And I never finish them. The only reason this is finished is because-- it's short and I wrote it for English lol. Couple of years old now so don't laugh too much lol.

| Happened To A Friend Of A Friend Of Mine |
[Jan. 27th, 2006|09:46 pm] |
Author's Notes: Yeh, another prose under supervision. My teacher liked this one a lot more, its not as depressing as the last one, but i dont like the 'juvenile' way i wrote it. i ran out of time towards the end, and had to substitue and elaborate plot involving those big baking ovens and secret drug imports for that crappy five-lined unfulfilled empty lead on. But the teacher liked it *rolls eyes*

| Meditations [Very Short Story] |
[Jan. 27th, 2006|09:44 pm] |
Author's Note: This one was written for Mhairi... well, it wasn't actually written for her... more promised to her. It was a moment of inspiration late one night and it kinda flowed... I'm not sure if I really like it or not...

| First Mouse On The Moon [Chapter One] |
[Jan. 27th, 2006|09:32 pm] |
Author's Notes: This was my first serious attempt at writing a novel, mainly as a school project in Year Ten. I was fifteen. Let me emphasis that, fifteen. We had a year to do it in, stupid me chose to do a series of nine novels, but of course only finished book one. This is book one. Basically the storlyline is childish and unlikely, but I still think its cute, in a way.
I'll be posting this chapter by chapter. Remember this was written four years ago, so be nice. Thank you.

| Military Worship |
[Jan. 27th, 2006|09:28 pm] |
Authors Notes: I have a soft spot for this piece, probably because I love Army Cadets so much. This piece came naturally as it is the moment that always comes to mind when I smell that strange combination of Brasso and Military Shine that is only reminiscent of Cadets. I hope you enjoy my small tribute to all my friends that I work with every week at my unit.

| Train |
[Jan. 27th, 2006|09:18 pm] |
Author's Notes: Yet another english assignment. Prose under supervision based on an image, time limit and all. It seems all the writing I've done in the past year has all been for school. I'm still trying to break this habit and find inspiration elsewhere, but its hard. Coincidently, she thought it needed a bigger twist at the end.

| Hellspawn Heart-Eating Jellybeans |
[Jan. 27th, 2006|09:10 pm] |
Author's Notes: This was an english assignment that turned out particularly well. Unfortunatly the teacher didnt like the way I wrote it and I only got a B grade. But I think its funky, even though there are improvments I could make. :)

| Angkast [Part One] |
[Jan. 27th, 2006|08:56 pm] |
Authors Notes: Was written at 4 am in the morning so I can blame any glaring mistakes on that. :P
Also, just in case you were wondering, anything written from Cian's POV is by Mhairi, Rulana's POV is by Katherine, Armeny's by Jade and Zeke's by Steve.

| The Wasteland |
[Jan. 27th, 2006|08:53 pm] |
Authors Notes: Written in Year 10 (2001) as part of a trial exam in school. :) Teacher was muchly impressed, but yeah. She WAS a teacher after all. lol. I go through periods of liking it and periods of hating it and wanting to rewrite the entire thing.

We have another potential writer for Into Dreams and I'm going to be harrassing our last recruit, Jeremiah, to actually send me something to post so with any luck we should have some more stuff up soon. I posted the prologue of SC: Search For The Seven to hold us for a little while at least though.
Kath, are you writing Part Four? :P And don't forget you were gonna plug Raw Canvas. :P |

| | Jeff Buckley- Dream Brother | ] | i have a problem. theres an essay due in about a week on art in a domestic environment, that together with another essay makes up 30% of my passing grade for art this year. to get it done, i need your help. i'll beg if i have to, but not now. :P
Under the cut are ten teeeny tiny questions on the topic of my essay. it would be so greatly appreciated if you could answer them, and help me out. the questions are anonymous, no names will be recorded, just age, sex, and possibly location ((am undecided about location yet)). if you feel uncomfortable with providing this information on livejournal, you can email me at zaliness@hotmail.com. if there are questions that you dont want to answer, you dont have to, but as much information as can be provided would be fantastic.
( Survey me! )
im going for as many answers as possible, so this might be crossposted a bit. forgive me if this pops up two or three times, but i need these answers like chocolate in the mornings. any help at all would be greatly appreciated. thanks :) |
