scribesds and chrisleeoctaves. They wanted to honour the series they love with a huge, all-encompassing project that celebrates each and every episode of both shows. No sign-ups are necessary. Just play by posting.
Here's how it works.
Starting on Sunday July 6 we'll open the project with 'Welcome to the Hellmouth'.
Anytime after midnight (and we're going to be flexible here to account for the time differences...so midnight your time!) you can post whatever you want as long as it relates to that episode- including (but not limited to):
Fiction
Drabbles
Graphics
Essays
Icons
Videos
Rec lists
Reposting an old story
Fun facts about the episode
Poems
Artwork
Wallpapers
Quizzes
Meta - links to old or brand new-
Posting continues until Thursday at midnight (again- your time). On Friday morning we'll post a flash challenge- it could be anything and we'll invite you to post your effort on Saturday - again after midnight on Friday and until midnight on Saturday. On Sunday we'll start a new episode. Please tag your entry with the FULL NAME of the episode.
We'll be doing the episodes in order and introducing Angel into the mix at the appropriate time.
We'll also be providing story prompts for episodes in advance of the episodes- in case you need a little inspiration. (Generally two-three weeks in advance.)
You DO NOT have to have an LJ to participate. If you do not have an LJ, please remember to include an email address for fb. (It's probably best to put AT rather than @ in the address to discourage spam.)
Everything posted here will eventually make its way over to a permanent archive at Phantasmagoria. Posting here gives us permission to do that. To facilitate this- please include all the necessary header info in your post.
You're also welcome to post your contribution at Blood Roses, Dark Star's B/A forum.
The community is open to ANYONE who would like to take part. Spread the word- the more the merrier.
When posting consider the following:
Please start a new post for your contribution.
Don't forget to tag it with the full name of the episode
Feel free to post your story in your own LJ and link to it here (in a new post).
Please be sure to include all the necessary header info including an e-mail address for FB (if you don't have an LJ) and to use a cut tag for longer items.
Please tell us if your item is fic, an essay, a drabble, graphics...etc...
