AboutThe purpose of the community:
To make and share mock-up movie posters and the like
Some rules and regulations:
1) Post movie posters, DVD covers, CD covers, book covers, anything of the sort, for any fandom, or crossover, or non-existent made-up fandoms. Example: "Painted Skies, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Keri Russell, coming to a theatre near you!" No such movie exists, but make a poster anyway if you want.
2) You don't have to use "official" casts of existing fandoms. You want Johnny Depp as Harry Potter instead of Daniel Radcliffe? Go for it.
3) Use LJ cuts! Most likely posters are quite large (600 x 850 is a good size), so make a thumbnail and put the real thing behind a cut.
4) Also use cuts if you are also sharing wallpapers, icons, banners, etc. made from your poster. They are allowed, as long as they are posted in the same entry as the original poster, and the preview before the cut is of the poster only, not the subsequent creations.
