Hello and welcome, one and all, to... *silence* Um, there was supposed to be a drumroll...? Hello? HELLO? I NEED A DR- *drum roll* Oh! Great. Okay. Ahem. *Clears throat* to the Fangirl Dictionary!!!

Are you a fangirl (or, you know, fanboy)? Then you've certainly experienced the wonderful fangirlish euphoria that makes you just flail with ecstasy, no?

Maybe you've even made up a few words! If so, this is the place for you! Whether your word is a fandom-specific joke between you and your like-minded fangirl friends (Hugh fives, anyone?) or a mass-used term that pops up all over the place (OTP!!!), feel free to share it here! In fact, feel more than free. Feel the pull of

fangirlglossary compelling you to join, post, and promote like a madman to everyone you know!

R U L E S

01: It's a given, but your submissions must be in some way related to fandom. Fangirlisms if ya like. ANYTHING may be submitted. Be it a fangirlish activity, like flail, a ship name, like Huddy, a character, a show, a prop... Just make sure it's fangirly in some way and you're good ;) Be creative.
02: Don't flame members, fandoms, mods... It's stupid and counter productive, and you'll be instantly banned.
03: You must join the community and post an entry in order to submit to the dictionary. Submissions posted in comments will be ignored.
04: When submitting to the dictionary, you must use the form below. Please make the title of your post the word/words you are submitting.
05: We would be grateful if you tag your entries with the names of the fandoms the words involve, and "submission". If a fandom name does not apply, then please tag with "general"
06: Submissions must be approved by both mod's before they are added to archived posts. If your submission is NOT approved by both mods, we will give you a reason. If you can fix it, great. If not, don't whine/cry/curse/etc. It's nothing personal.
07: We welcome and encourage the posting of dictionary definition icons like THIS one (by

lissie_pissie ♥). Just remember when posting more than 3 icons to use a cut, and tag your entry with "icons" :)
08: Submissions may include images to illustrate your entry. At the rather clever suggestion of

miss_atom
09: Please check the archived posts before you submit a word, it'll save us and you time :)
10: Because 10 is a nice round number...
