The premise of the Tour is simple, really. If you fangirl it, we want to know about it. There are no restrictions on the choice of fandom, genre, pairing or preference. This is my first time on the fangirl tour... would that make me a virgin? My only fandom is HP as you'll see though at one time I was heavily into LOTR but haven't read any of that fandom in years. My favorite pairings are SS/HG, LM/HG, SS/HG/LM and on ocassion DM/HG amongst others.

Anyone who reads the fics I write can safely assume that I love me some angst. I adore the fluff, the (b)romance, and the funny moments, but on the way to the happy ending, please put them through the wringer a bit. Deep thought, deep sorrow, hurt/comfort, loss ... it's all good. For this wonderful Wednesday, I have Star Trek, Jeeves and Wooster, Star Wars, and Harry Potter for you.

Since this is the first posting for The Sentinel, a brief summary: Jim is a fairly reserved, ex-military police detective. He has heightened senses – can see and hear things much better than everyone else - which can also cause him problems. Blair is a "neo-hippie" grad student who has studied the senses and can help.

I tried, really I did, to come up with some sort of clever, amusing theme for this post. It failed, mostly because I kept finding myself distracted by the shiny and adding more and more things to my list of recs until any vague theme-y ideas I may have once had became entirely unrecognisable.

Last year my Fangirl Tour Stop was all about Severus Snape.

So it's a new year and time for a new topic, right? Hell, no!!

It's still all Snape, all the time for me. This time out we will be exploring some of the many loves of Severus Snape. The fanfic writers have been much more generous to Severus than JKR ever was.
