About
While anyone can watch this community, membership will be monitored. When you click to join, one of the maintainers will stop by your journal and check out any fiction links they can find there to check out your writing. If we find that most, if not all, of your fic looks like it skipped past the beta, then you won't be approved. Also, netspeak in fic will ensure you don't get approved. We won't be looking to your everyday posts to see if we want you here, we're not quite that anal.
  • Every two weeks a new prompt will be posted as well as added to the prompt list.
  • The first person to respond to the new prompt, gets to choose the next prompt added.
  • If you're a new poster, let us know when you've posted a fic so we can add your writer's tag to the list.
  • There is no time limit on when you can answer a prompt, just go with which ever one inspires you.
  • Your responses must be at least 100 words. There is no max limit.
  • Post your responses in separate posts, not as comments to the new prompt post.
  • You can post as many responses to a prompt as you wish.
  • Your stories, as well as the characters, can be from any fandom you choose, or you can post original fiction.
  • Cross-overs are welcome, but no real person fic will be accepted.
  • We accept any pairing and rating, though you must have all the appropriate warnings.
  • The body of the fic must be below an LJ cut tag, regardless of length.
  • Any posts not having to do with the challenge are prohibited unless either [info]velvetwhip or I give the go ahead.
  • All fic must be labeled with the rating/warning and fandom. We would prefer a summary.
  • Don't forget to use your tags! We won't get on your case if you don't use all the appropriate tags, but attempt to use some.
This should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway: NO FLAMING!

Story headers should resemble something close to the following:

Title:
Author:
Fandom:
Pairing/Character:
Rating/Warnings:
Prompt:
Summary:
Disclaimer:
A/N:
