ljsecret or the postsecret project, where people confess all on postcards, or little graphics made with text and pictures. Or even muse_secrets where characters- both original and already in fandom, do the same thing.
Imagine having a place where our favourite fandom characters could do the same?
Maybe you roleplay and one of your characters needs to get something off their chest. Maybe you write fanfiction and someone you write needs to? Maybe there's something in a TV show that a character needs to say because it's eating them up inside.
Rules
All posts to this community are checked by the mods. This is to avoid drama, irrelevant stuff, and bullshit, pretty much.
You are more than welcome to post characters' secrets here. You are not more than welcome to attack other members for their shipping choices, or the way they see their character.
Anything potentially triggering or not worksafe should be lj-cut for consideration. Ditto anything so huge that it's going to cause someone with dialup a power outage or is going to mess up people's Friends pages.
If you're using someone else's fan art to get your point across, lovely- but please credit the original artist.
Posting
Upload your picture somewhere, create an entry, and post it! It's as simple as that... but since this board is multi-fandom, it would be appreciated if you could tell us who the character is, and what the fandom is you're posting for. Not everyone is going to understand what you're posting, otherwise.
Secrets can range from anything- a crush, childhood memories, social awkwardness, bizarre habits. They don't have to be emo and angsty, though they can. They may not be referred to in canon, or they may be hinted at, or they may be as blatant as all hell.
Anything so non-descript or which could pass for something in one of the regular secret communities isn't welcome here without an explanation.
The idea isn't for us to hear "I secretly ship [insert ship here]!" Its for us to hear the character's voice and secret. Instead of saying, "I ship Harry/Hermione" - which is from your POV, make it from one of theirs- "She doesn't know how much I love her..." etc.
This isn't the place for original characters to post their secrets.muse_secrets deals with that area- this is fandom characters only.
