Hi! This is the community where I'm going to be collecting all the works for the Fandom Is Art 2007 Ficathon. You can post your own here too.

Entry Requirements

Entries have a minimum word limit of 5000 on fanfic and art has to have been worked on for a total of at least 6 hours. Things posted here need to have substance and you need to believe they deserve the term 'art' because that is what this is all about. The maximum rating on everything is R, absolutely NO NC17. If you're going to go there, make it sensual, NOT sexual. This is a pan-fandom community, so entries can be from whatever fandom you are coming from, no specifics on that account.

No fake cuts. Please post your work here in the community.

No WIPs. Feel free to put each chapter in a separate post, but it must be complete to be posted here.

All postings are moderated, and I will be checking them over to make sure they are not NC17 and fit the guidelines. Also, I will be preening at being able to get first look at everything. Ahem.

Suggestions

Maybe write in the style of Hemmingway or Poe or Beatrix Potter or Shakespeare. Draw in the style of Monet or Picasso (early, not late, personal preference there *eyeshifts*) or even sculpt something in the style of Michaelangelo and take pictures. Write or draw in your own style but strive to make it a piece you would not mind publishing or hanging in a local art show. Art art art... That's what it's all about.
