fanicons@yahoo.com AboutWelcome Everyone, fan_icons is a place where you can show off the icons you make that represent something you love. May it be TV, Movies, Sports, Music an Individual the only limit is your imagination. Fan_Icons is also a place where you can borrow icons with permission of the creator or request an icon from anyone that makes them. All we ask is you give credit where credit is due. Please don't steal other icons created by anyone else or one created for someone. We will also be holding contests where people can vote for icon of the month. Fan_Icons is going to be a fun place to show off your creativity or pay hommage to your favorite icons :)
CREATORS if you're worried about someone stealing your work. Please consider imbedding a water mark into your icons.

If you steal or doctor other creators icons you've not given permission to use, you will be booted from the community.
Contest Rules & Prize Information
* Icons will be no bigger than 100x100 pixels and cannot be larger than 40k.
If you submit an icon that isn't within these specs it will not be
entered into the contest. No exceptions!
* You're allowed up to 3 submissions, made up from the theme chosen by the group.
* If you submit more than one icon, we will have a group vote that
chooses your best submission.
* After all icons are submitted, they will be posted again to let
everyone get a chance to see them together.
* Voting starts on the 25th ending the last day of the month. The
first of the next month the winner will be announced.
* The winner will receive a prize and recognition. The prize will be
of the winners choice. Your winning icon will become the main icon
for both fan_icons journal and fan_icons website. Your submission
will also be featured on the winners page on the fan_icons website.
* Winner can choose between 2 months free paid journal or you can
waive it for just recognition.
* On January 1, I will go through the submissions and tally up
the winners of the past months and the person with the most wins
will get a grand prize.
* The winner of the grand prize can choose between a gift certificate
to an online store (of your choice, online store must have online
gift certificates available) or a year of prepaid journal.
