The best lead discovered so far is, in fact, one’s dreams – the rawest, deepest and most natural form of thought. This facility in particular has become quite dedicated to researching the dreams of its ‘guests’ – despite what they may know or think they know.

Imagine a street blocked by a small fair, people smiling, the smell of food cooking-- imagine a prosperous city. Imagine happy families and heartbreak and overwhelming joy and nice estates at the edge of town, imagine a place where people from all over flock for art, for recreation, for fun.

Now that you've got that cheerful image in your head, flip it upside down.

This is the city now, that was the city then-- people fucked up by trying to play god, you know? And now they're just screwed. Ever hear the story about the guy who flew too close to the sun? It's like that, 'cept on a grander scale. But it's not like you need to know about anything that happened here before-- nah, man, you're just here from wherever you were, for whatever reason, a pretty little bracelet fixed on you and a searing pain in your wrist, an inability to do whatever magic tricks you could do before. Top priority is just to survive, after all.

Either way, you can figure out just by a glance around this place that whatever happened here was a shit sort of fate to befall, but if that's how the cookie crumbles... well. Not much you can do about that.

Also not much you can do about the lively locals-- a bunch of sickly, quiet brains and more than a truck-full of corpses. They're all here to greet you with a bouquet of maggots and cockroaches, here to present you with a special dinner: last month's week-old meatloaf. Come on, gather around the table-- the entire family's sat there, b-b-buzzing with excitement but still managing to sit respectfully in honor of their new guest-- heads bowed, skeleton hands folded neatly in their bony laps.

Oh, gee, just wait till you meet the family pets-- all five thousand of them. There's Buggy the cockroach and his million or so friends; Rover, something that used to be a dog but is more like a corpse on four legs by now, rows upon rows of razer sharp teeth ready to give more than a little love bite; there's Fluffy, too, a cat with six legs and talon-claws stuck on its little feeties-- and man, we'd be here all day if I named them all off to you. So just go and meet 'em all! Come on. Don't be shy. After all...

This is a Marvel Comics movie-verse RPG.

In a nation where crime and evil runs rampant, there is a desperate cry going out for someone to save the innocent people that are struggling merely to survive. The city of San Angeles is a city surrounded by lights, sounds, and people. In the daylight, everything seems to operate just as any large city does. Businessmen spend 9 to 5 in the office, children spend their days in school, the upperclass host elaborate parties, and nobody stops long enough to give anyone else a second glance. Then..the sun goes down.

The night life in San Angeles is vastly different than the life citizens lead during the day. While the city sleeps, underdogs rule the streets. People gather together for a new type of therapy, a group therapy, a psychological healing called Fight Club. Others choose to forgo the fighting and instead work together on a little thing known as Project Mayhem.

In the morning though, these same fighters and mischief-making humans return to their 9 to 5 jobs, spending their days in the office, attending their schools, as if none of it never even happened. The first rule about San Angeles; don't let San Angeles fool you.

	THE END
	The earth is gone. A year and a half ago you, and the rest of the world, learned that everything you thought you knew about the world, the galaxy and the universe . . . was wrong. We aren't alone in the universe and while all the aliens out there weren't out to get us, there were more than a few who were. In the mass hysteria and martial law following the revelation, other information leaked out: the earth was under attack, the survival of humanity was at risk and the world powers had secret plans in place to save a remnant of the population and save humanity from certain extinction. You were one of the few, either chosen by your rank and station or randomly via lottery, to go through the stargate, an advanced alien device that afforded nearly simultaneous transportation between worlds, to a lifeboat colony. There, alongside 7500 others, you would begin to rebuild human civilization.
	THE BEGINNING
	You are part of the remnant of earth's population, surviving and rebuilding at the lifeboat colony known as Gamma Site. Though earth is gone, there is a stargate at your disposal and thousands of unexplored worlds at your fingertips.

Spacial Rend is a multifandom RPG set in the world of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2. Characters will find themselves not only in a brand new place, but in a completely different form- a Pokémon. Along with those found in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, players may play as a character from any fandom transformed into a Pokémon or they may even play as a Pokémon owned by a trainer in the anime, game, or manga series. Although this RP takes place after the events of PMD2, prior knowledge of the game isn't required to play. We've just started, so please take a look!

You arrive on an airship. Slowly you awaken to the sound of a steam engine chugging away, hard at work. The hiss of the various machines, the whirling of propellers and the up and down sensation of sailing through the open air greets your tired senses. You open your eyes and find yourself in a small chamber with nothing but a bed and a window. You're locked in by cold steel bars. You're a prisoner on this airship and there is no hope of escape. Indeed, the idea doesn't even cross your mind. Peering out the window, you see the bars of a giant cage. As the airship pulls into the dock, the door swings open. Strong hands grab you and before you know it, you're thrust into the streets. Your belongs are thrown at your feet and you're alone.

Looking around you, you find yourself in a strange city that blends the past, the present and the future. It is a city built within a giant bird cage, locking you in and keeping you as long as it pleases. Floating high over a ruined world shrouded in Mist, held up by nothing, this city is the sole survivor of a world destroyed by corruption. You have been brought here by an entity that simply calls itself The Creator. It has a great plan in store for this city and you are the unwilling participant.

the_lifeboat is a post-apocalyptic panfandom game based in the Stargate universe.
THE PREMISE
Twelve months ago, the world as you know it changed. The Stargate Program went public and the population of the world learned that aliens were real and that the earth had been in contact with them. Eleven months ago, unknown to the public, a devastating threat hung over the earth. Secret lifeboat colonies were created and those lucky enough to be chosen migrated to these safe sites via the stargate. Seven months ago, an unknown hostile alien species destroyed the earth's sun, and earth as you knew it was gone.

GarmRO is also a "Super High Rate" server- meaning that it is really easy to level.
You can get from level 1 to level 1000 in less than 1 day! It also means there
are a lot of extra cute things that you can get that aren't available in the
regular version of the game.

Shoujo Ai Showdown

Shoujo Ai Showdown is a guild that Volk_krosh and Silencescreams created on GarmRO.

A guild is a group of players who play together, help one another, and participate in
events to win prizes on the server. Basically, a group of people who like to have
fun together!

The server has 100 registered players, and only about 15-30 are online at a time. This means
that many of the awesome anime related names are still available for use. We created
Natsuki and Shizuru, and with the "Barber" we were able to change our looks to come
fairly close to the anime versions of them.

If the name you had wanted is already taken, try another! There are plenty of characters in
the Shoujo Ai Genre.

We are inviting you to come and play the game with us,and join our Shoujo Ai guild.

Create a character with a name coming from a Shoujo Ai series (cannon or subtext), pick
a class, and join our guild! Don't worry if you're a boy or girl, you can play either sex,
and we would be more than happy to have a Reito, Nagi, or Takumi in the group. If it's
from a Shoujo Ai, it's just right!

Since the server is still working on getting more players, GirlonGirl will be kicking butts
and taking names on GarmRO. Come and join the fun!

Two houses, both with very different ideas of dignity: Monacello and Vescovo.

When: the future. Where: in a new-world Italy, a city known as Reggio Calabria. The setting is two parts steampunk, one part dystopia.

The streets are a constant battlefield, ruled by two major families, now bitter enemies in the struggle for territory. The new don of the Monacello family has all but declared open war upon the old don of the even older Vescovo family. It is a struggle for power, for territory, for pride, in which all have become pawns, and only a handful have been able to distinguish themselves as important players. They can be opportunists, mercenaries, guns for hire; or perhaps they are innocents, caught up in the crossfire of something far bigger than individual needs and desires. Drug lords, prostitutes, pimps and assassins: all stand to profit from the chaos that would follow outright war.

But outright war is not yet upon Reggio Calabria. Slowly but surely, the lines are being drawn. Those who are neutral, those who are traitors, those who are bound by time-honored loyalty, will all find themselves a part of the coming storm.

Two houses, both with very different ideas of dignity: Monacello and Vescovo. 
 
When: the future. Where: in a new-world Italy, a city known as Reggio Calabria. The setting is two parts steampunk, one part dystopia. 
 
The streets are a constant battlefield, ruled by two major families, now bitter enemies in the struggle for territory. The new don of the Monacello family has all but declared open war upon the old don of the even older Vescovo family. It is a struggle for power, for territory, for pride, in which all have become pawns, and only a handful have been able to distinguish themselves as important players. It's one of those in-between places; a place that hides deep in the cracks, in the fissures between worlds and times, without ever really being a part of one or the other. You can't find it on purpose, but when you need it (even if you don't realise it at the time), you're bound to end up at its door sooner or later. It's a refuge, of sorts - if only for a time. It's a place for the young.

The Inbetween Place is a brand-new panfandom game with a unique spin. Set in an inn suspended between worlds, a place that - like Narnia - only the young can find, the game is made up entirely of characters aged eighteen and under. Players may choose characters who are children in canon, or bring in canonly older characters from a point in their childhood, allowing you to explore old favourites from a distinctly different angle.

WHAT IS THE LIFEBOAT?
the_lifeboat is a post-apocalyptic panfandom game based in the Stargate universe.
THE PREMISE
Twelve months ago, the world as you know it changed. The Stargate Program went public and the population of the world learned that aliens were real and that the earth had been in contact with them. Eleven months ago, unknown to the public, a devastating threat hung over the earth. Secret lifeboat colonies were created and those lucky enough to be chosen migrated to these safe sites via the stargate. Seven months ago, an unknown hostile alien species destroyed the earth's sun, and earth as you knew it was gone.
THE GAME
You are part of the remnant of earth's population, surviving and rebuilding at the lifeboat colony named Gamma Site. Though earth is gone, there is a stargate at your disposal and thousands of unexplored worlds at your fingertips.

In the country of Margherita, lying directly in the center, is the city of Fiori. Their motto? "The People Prosper, The City Prospers." They live by it. Most have died for it.

And indeed, the city has prospered. It's blossomed, much like the flower of its name, into one of the most alive towns in all of the country... even though its history is bloody. Struggles. War. Criminal activity.

Many people believe that those who live in Fiori are destined for great things, and they immigrate to the town in droves, hoping to pinch a penny for themselves.

What they don't know is that once they enter Fiori, they'll never be able to leave. Nor will they ever know the meaning of "security" ever again. Not while they are in control. Not while the families bicker to themselves, attempting a balance of power. Not while the crime syndicate rules.

la_stessa_cosa is a panfandom Alternate Universe role-play loosely based off of the history of organized crime. Anything that happens here is not based off of actual events/places/etc.

This role play takes place in the city of Fiori, where five families secretly fight against one another to rule at the top. Those five families are: the Rosso, with their don Axel leading; the Viola, headed by Marluxia; the Bianco, with Rufus Shinra at the top; the Giallo, fronted by the manic Larxene; and the Nero, with "The Bloody Valentine" keeping watch.

This RP opened as of July 7th, 2007. Many positions and tons of characters are still currently available. Our plot is still in its very early stages. Currently we have players from series such as Kingdom Hearts, DOGS, Final Fantasy, Batman, CSI, Sailor Moon, and more! If there's a fandom you enjoy, we'll accept characters from it--anime, tv, book, video game, you name it! The more the merrier. We hope to see you soon!
