LOL I don't know what happened to my old laptop. I made Tasuki icons only a few days ago? And now the adapter doesn't work, which means that the laptop has like an hours' worth of battery life on it. :|

I'm not really that upset-- I hardly use it. But I need to get... my music off the comp. That's most important.

I finally installed Photoshop 7.0 on my new laptop, since... the old one is no longer a guarantee. However, what also sucks is that I don't have OpenCanvas 3.03E anymore. It was like... my favorite drawing program. :|

I know that I have a decent number of art friends on my flist-- does anyone have OpenCanvas 3.03E? I'm supposed to draw some pictures for people's birthdays and while I could use Photoshop, I love OpenCanvas so much more. D:

...yeah I don't know.

Disturbing revelation.

So, a while back, before I watched Heroes, Mohinder Suresh didn't seem like my type. At all. I tend to go for, you know. Light-skinned, light-haired, kind of effeminate guys. (Or East Asian.)

In fact, I can say with absolute certainty that I never found an Indian guy attractive before. Don't get me wrong, I've a lot of Indian friends, I just never saw them attractive. The best they get is me giggling at their accents.

But, but. Then I, uh. Watched Heroes. And now I find Mohinder attractive. Unreasonably so. I do not find Hiro attractive (I'd tap him for his personality though), even though I like him more than Mohinder, so it can't be purely the personality. I was baffled. Absolutely baffled.

And then epicusername helped me come to an absolutely fantastic realization.

I've also entered a couple of new icontests lately [toon_lol, ino_icontest, vk_awards/yuki_stills] & either couldn't show the icons or didn't have enough ready to show, so they will be up with the next Multifandom Post. :D

And, I've very recently gotten into Vampire Knight, so do expect more icons coming for that fandom!

1. I watched most of the first episode of Heroes. Mostly because the streaming cut off. Tears. I need to find a good place to download it, because um 142 hours left on torrent???

2. Semi-marathoned Avatar today with epicusername. I love Avatar. ♥

3. No, I haven't seen the Dark Knight or w/e it is, and prz not to be asking, I have no interest in seeing it.

4. I am missing some key people in my lyfe. sharingank in particular, prz to be feeling better. ;_;

5. I COLORED TASUKI ICONS TODAY. Seven of them. My favorites are:



6. Photoshop still would not activate online. I'm thinking, let's install 7.0 again.

7. Some scenes of Jigoku Shoujo sound porn-y enough to make my dad hesitate and think that I'm watching porn but I swear it's not porn, it's just a girl having a nightmare with her VA probably having voiced hentai before.

8. Zuko is hot.

9. I've decided on my tenth character for Poly. We'll see how it goes-- I need to write the app.

10. Chinese puns are the most hilarious things ever. In Mulan, the male name Mulan took up, Ping? Put it together with her surname, Hua (I know the movie says Fa, but that's Cantonese-- it's actually Hua), and you get Hua Ping. Flower vase. And, in Avatar, The Boulder's name? Da Shi Tou. Or big hunk of rock. And, if you took Mako's pronunciation of Zuko and chose certain characters for it, Zhu Kou? It could mean "shut your mouth." I don't know. Color me really amused.

11. I am content and discontent in ways I never imagined possible? But on the whole, I'm happy in a very different way than I've ever been before. Let's savor it.

12. I needed to sleep hours ago. Hopefully I'll conk right out.

Looking at my flist today really made me realize how much this net restriction that my parents have placed on me limits my ability to keep up with some of my closest friends.

I don't care what my parents say, their opinion that one hour a day would be more than enough time to spent online is completely, completely off.

But, I don't know. I just wanted to say...

I'm really sorry that I haven't been there for enough of you. And that I've been silly, unable to quite screw my head on the right way as of late. I've decided to go in an entirely new direction with my life, so it's kind of scary, kind of distracting, but it honestly hurts to see some of those I love most... struggling with things. And knowing that I haven't been there for some of them because I can only get online after most of them have gone to bed.

I'm really sorry.

I love you guys. Really.

Ugh, I hate being close to tears wtfff. I swear that the newest Avatar episode did not help my general levels of BAWW today.
