I just felt like posting something and all I could find that I'd already done were these ^_^

As you might know, the first press of the 「FILL IN」demo tape came with a signed photograph and a matchbox. However, there are no matches to be had. Instead they put in a little photocopied set of directions for using the matchbox. Each member wrote their own note which is decorated with a picture. I don't know who drew them but they seem to be done by the same person. Um... Yeah, I'm kind of lucky to have two copies (please don't hit me). The notes I found were written by Takashi and Yokoi, under the names Rei and Shayte. Under the cut you'll find translations and a few pictures of the notes. My computer won't upload large files at the moment so I've only got rubbishy photos I took on my phone. I'll try to upload some scans soon :)

Here as promised is the second lot of scans I mentioned. There's quite a lot of individual images (31, I think...) this time so I've put them all into a zip file for you to download. There's explanations of them behind the cut, but I will admit I don't know where some of them came from as some are only clippings whereas others came from magazines I own. Sorry about this, but you'll be able to enjoy the pictures nonetheless. ^_^

Secondly, to explain...

hv volume 12 - This volume focused on SWEET TRANCE 2000 so there are lots of nice pictures here of them backstage, performing, plus photos from an interview. I've not seen much from 2000 so I really enjoyed these.

Psycho le Cemu - Magical Party book - I'm a huge PLC fan and wanted to get this book anyway, but I bought it on impulse when I saw a scan showing familiar orange boiler suits. This book was done by B-PASS and it was for an ongoing segment Psycho le Cemu did for the magazine. It basically entailed them doing odd tasks or activities, while being photographed. Takashi, Yasu and Yoko took part in party 19, along with Waive's Jun and Takayuki during SWEET TRANCE 2002 SECOND STAGE. It was a "boxing game" competition. I don't know what the game's called but you'll know what I mean when you see the pictures. Really nice pictures ^_^ And can you guess who won..?

Unknown SHOXX - A photo of each of the members when they were still FIR~REFORLE. I don't know which volume they are from.

There's also some random images packed in here. Two leaflet scans, more FIR~REFORLE from unknown volumes of SHOXX, the one from FOOL'S MATE I forgot to scan last time, two FIR~REFORLE scans from volumes of Vicious, and Yasu's picture from the SWEET TRANCE 2000 booklet (I noticed this was missing from the set I saw on jrock_scans)

And here's some little tasters. I love the one of Takashi and Yasu. ^_^

I was meant to be typing up the kanji for the mp3s I uploaded but I got a bit bored... and bought a scanner instead. ^_^ I'm so lazy... But it does mean that you get to drool over some very nice pictures of FAIRY FORE!! It all works out well in the end!! I will admit that I don't know the exact origins of some of these pictures... Heh. Although I own them, some were just from clippings that didn't state the magazine - so I guess that's not very helpful. But you can still enjoy them nonetheless!!

Hello, guys. I've been a lurker for quite some time now, and I must say a word of thanks to all of you here.

THANK YOU OMGFAIRYFORWFTW.

Okay.

Now for the begging-ish thing.

(Oh, and thank you to the wonderful soul that put up the FIR~EFORLE songs, even though I wasn't able to snag them. It's good to know that somewhere in the world those CD's fell into the hands of a relative neighbor. o_o)

I have looked everywhere for a place that sells the Darling and youphilous singles, since I do not like to have to ask people for it, and there's a nice bit of satisfaction in having actually purchased a CD. Once or twice I found songs that were on the singles, but I haven't found full versions of them. The only songs I am missing are "an ultimate hole" and the radio edit of Darling. I figure I'm not missing much with the radio edit, though.

So - and I am not forcing anyone into this - if someone happens to own that single and is willing to post it here, that would be heavenly and I would love you forever.

I will still love you guys even if that doesn't happen. ^_^

Finally! I've done it...

YASU IS IN A BAND.

It looks like BEAUTY MANIACS may have spawned a band. They're called acalli. Akito (BEAUTY MANIACS is his solo project, for those unaware) is the vocalist.

For anyone who is interested, here's the info-

Personally... I'm not very excited. I want to be, but I really can't stand Akito's voice. (=_=;) I'll be uploading a live clip of BEAUTY MANIACS sometime soon, so you all can decide for yourselves. Maybe some of you will like him.

I appologize if this is out of line, but where have the maintainers gone? I was looking through the archives, and the last time a mod posted was almost three years ago.

I'm just tired of this ill-formatted layout and and lack of, well, maintaining. The links on the info page no longer work, and the interests need to be expanded. Memories need to be saved.

Did the mods lose interest? Understandable, but if that's the case, an active mod/maintainer should be appointed.

Hello. I'm just wondering if you can help me out with a little something...

Being the obsessive type that I am, I'm trying to get as complete a FAIRY FORE collection as possible. Yes, it's difficult and near damn impossible, but I still want to get all that I can. So, I was wondering if anyone knew about the different releases they had. I mean in terms of limited editions or first presses. Here's what I know:

LOOP had a special first pressing, as did HEAVEN'S MARKET and their four main singles. Darling was obviously limited, and I know about their various demos.

What I don't know is about Youphilous and Kono Hana. Does anyone know if they had special first presses? I read somewhere about a limited edition Kono Hana but I'm not sure what it was on about... Does anyone know?

I'll give sweets to anyone who can help me out! Okay, that's a lie, but I've got some magazine scans to put up...

FILL IN demo

I did it! I managed make mp3s of the FILL IN demo. This might not seem like such an achievement to some of you, but I really don't have much of a clue when it comes to these things...

Anyway, here they are. 'I feel love...' sounds a but crackly, and there might be a few wibbles but I haven't got round to the distortion editing yet... I also think that a few of you have this demo already, but I'm sure there's someone who can use it. I'll re-upload them if needed, too. Oh, and I'll put the lyrics up as soon as I've done them...

I got my long-awaited shipment of FAIRY FORE stuff yesterday so I'm just letting you know that I'm working on mp3s of the FILL IN demo (which I wasn't actually expecting, but it came with a cute little matchbox and a signed photograph [Takashi's got sexy blue hair in it]!! I was so happy I thought my head was going to explode...). I'm an idiot when it comes to these things but I'm getting there... Expect it sometime in the next week.

I also got the SWEET TRANCE 2002 DVD. It's such a funny performance! Takashi's incredibly feminine at the best of times but in this he just acts like a hyped-up school girl!! I love him so much... Hah. It's a shame that the session isn't on it... unless it's hiding somewhere.

I've noticed that Fairy Fore has like, a tiny fanbase again! Amazing! Jeez, just when I'm not so into them, people like them again. I mostly keep their stuff for posterity. Craziness.

Scans vol. 3: SWEET TRANCE 2002

Okay, this is the final set of scans. These are all from the SWEET TRANCE 2002 photobook.

This photobook was considerably easier to scan than the other, as the pictures don't take up the entire page. Each one fit nicely on the bed of my scanner. <3

...Takashi's shoes are distracting.

In the back of the book is a photo history of SWEET TRANCE, with pictures of the bands that performed each year. I scanned in the 2000 and 2001 pictures. They didn't include 2002 in this section, unfortunately.

2000. I didn't know Akihide ever had that much hair. (o o;)

2001. These looks a lot like the live report pictures too. And the picture of Akihide is the same one from the video tapes. Boo.
