Speaking of patience, you guys have been VERY patient with us over the crazyness of update schedules and whatnot. School/work is HARD!
Ya'll will be happy to know that Snicks finished her exams and is on a little break (though her router went kaputsky, so I keep calling her and leaving bizarre messages XD), and I'm working on getting my ass into grad school. Yes, I know, more school, I'm crazy. But this shouldn't be news to anyone.
There really isn't a point to this post. ^__^; I'm bored, I can't sleep, and we haven't updated this journal since December (and ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) fandf since last APRIL...)...so I thought I'd give a little heads up.
Now...time for more Kingdom Hearts!

I'm a day late with the verbal update (hazard of being home for the holidays), but the comic itself went up on time. That boney dude in the last panel makes up the last of our main cast ^___^ I am so happy.
There won't be a christmas update, but after that it's clear sailing 'til March. I apologize if the screentoning turns up dark on your screen; it looks much darker on this computer than the one where I do my work, but it should still be nice and legible and stuff.
Getting kind of sick of drawing trees already, though...

You may or may not have noticed, but we kickedstarted the comic today. We have enough strips stockpiled to see us through to March. With the possible exception of Christmas, as I have no pinup.
Today's page is pretty nifty, don't you think? And I'm fall-down-drop-dead-proud of the last panel, mostly because no references were used! Every now and then I rock persepective! Lynn looks like she's twelve years old, but it's nice to see her having fun.

As most of you know, I got my hair cut yesterday. I HAVE BANGS! But that's not the reason of this post. Last night I pulled up my hair in my clip and the bangs came down and I looked in the mirror. * nearly died laughing. Turns out I have Kas!bangs. So I pulled out some eartails and played in front of the mirror for about 20 mins. XD So funny.
So tonight I did it again and took some pics to show everyone just how big of a dork I really am.

Ar har, we update!
Folks, I have never been so relieved about a change of setting. I hate drawing Ikue's office, which is going to suck, because an awful lot of the story takes place in Ikue's office. It's the shelves, I think. I have to come up with a million things to put on those shelves. Books are acceptable, but I get tired of drawing them, so every so often I throw in something like Fenrir. But still. I hate doing backgrounds, mostly because they take days to do, and it's not like people really pay much attention to them. But they'd notice if I said "Fuck it, blank space this week!", so I have to do them. RARARGH.
Xil seems to be more concerned for Ikue than for Whatever's Wrong With Kas That We're Not Telling You. She's designated herself Ikue's keeper, because the Guardianship Head has the tendency to forget to eat, sleep, or brush her teeth when there's business to attend to. Xil doesn't quite have Ikue's ability to make everything she touches go smoothly, but she does have an awful lot of common sense and good judgement, which Ikue values and listens to.
I mention this only because she doesn't have a profile page yet. SOON! Must...Redo...Profile...Images...

We seem to be making a habit out of updating on Mondays. It was that damn holiday weekend, it threw me off! I need to haul ass this week and try to get back on track.
Not too much to say about this page. I love the look Lynn's giving Ikue in panel four. Nobody's managed to convince her that this whole Guardian thing is a good idea, yet.
The one thing I'd like folks to notice is the last panel. In the background, on the second shelf, there is a long row of thin objects. That's Ikue's record collection. And holding them upright is a fishbowl, containing Fenrir, the guardian beta-fish of Ikue's record collection. He's not a magical fish or anything, she just likes to call him that. So his proper title is probably Fenrir XXXIX.
...I was desperate for stuff to fill the shelves!

Comic's up, just a day behind schedule. I don't think that's too bad, myself! Especially since I'm quite satisfied with this one.
Meet Damian and Xil. More on them in the next few pages. For the record, Damian has a tail. You just can't see it.
I have accomplished my Ultimate Goal of making Ikue Totally Hot. I can sleep soundly tonight.

Sorry about the delayed update. I spent Saturday night working on this, when I should have been grayscaling the comic. But there it is!
From now on, all telepathy will be designated by floating heads, ~ ~, and gradient filled text bubbles!
I'm pretty satisfied with the layout. I really like the bird's eye view in the first panel, and the flop in the second. Panels three through five are unremarkable, but I like the perspective in the sixth one. The shiney glass doors and tabletops turned out much better than I had any right to expect! (the girls have stolen my coffee and end tables, by the by)
Next page we get two more of the Important Yet Secondary Characters ^_^ I will try very hard to get it up on time, because I love them both! I may be waiting on a character design from Exie in order to do this, though...
I'm going to go camp out over the AC vents for the rest of the season. Enjoy the last of June!

So, now that the third birthday is almost here, the party hat has finally come down ^^;
Tweaked a few details, nothing major.
We've killed the fan submissions e-mail account, which was not only neglected by us due to forgetfulness but rendered moot with the forum, which is where we want you to show off with everyone else. So! If you've done any kind of fan works and we have apparently forgotten where we've put it (or it hasn't made its way through the chain to me), post here or give me a poke.
btw, if you see any links to e-mail Snickers and it's hotmail, don't use it, that's one's dead. She's got a new Yahoo account. I think I changed all the links, but if you spot an old one lemme know.
