 | 10:22 pm - You have to love South Africa.... Johannesburg - The leader of a Pretoria-based youth organisation has issued a controversial statement by telling youth to go and steal from white people in the suburbs.
Faraday Nkoane, the leader of Uhuru cultural club, told 100 youngsters who attended the Human Rights Day celebration at Lebanon township park to go and steal from the whites because "it is the right thing to do.
"Stop stealing from black people because they will deal with you in an African way. They will bewitch you and you will go crazy. The whites have stolen from us since April 6, 1652. Our ancestors' cattle, goats, sheep, chickens and others are in the hands of the whites, while we are left with nothing. Go and steal from them because it is right.
"Taking from whites is not a crime because you repossess what belongs to you. But make sure you are not caught," said Nkoane, addressing the youth, most of whom were in Rastafarian colours.
When the Daily Sun approached him about his controversial statement that would cause hatred between South Africans, Nkoane said he stood by his statement because "nothing is wrong with it.
"Yes, nothing is wrong with my statement because the whites have stolen from the blacks.
"My statement doesn't promote any hatred because I did not call for violence against the whites. I only told the youth to go and repossess from them. If youth steal in the township it is crime, but if they steal from whites in the suburbs, it is not a crime because they are merely repossessing," said Nkoane.
He said he would not withdraw his statement because the government was doing nothing for unemployed youth.

 | 01:23 pm - Does That Make Me Crazy?
Am I crazy for being tempted to buy a doll that costs $49.99. Why yes if you've noticed it looks like I'm back at least for the time being if things go well. It's not like I really left but I have done some unlocking so the fingers are crossed that things will go better this time landing me a little more cash. I ended up getting some action figures and decided to look for an Icy doll which I found but it costs $49.99. Am I crazy for being tempted? I could always call it an anniversary present since Moonlight Dwelling is one year old tomorrow. Sure I have about three packages coming on Friday but still I could possibly swing it. The hematite is due to arrive too along with my vampire fangs charm and the DVDs.
Yes I'm the girl that lives in a basement that has action figures. Well I figured why not since two of them were on sale and I've always wanted a Xander one. Sure this is the fangy version but I love Xander so I'm getting him. Now if only they'd release Dean since I'd love a Dean doll. Also they should have Deanisms and don't forget the lederhosen and other accessories. I'm ready for Thursday to arrive since that's going to be one hell of an episode.
Unfortunately no one has helped me in figuring out the mystery of a MPS or Audacity so I guess I won't be doing that audion after all. That's probably for the best since I have a weird sounding voice anyway so no big loss. It would have been nice though since I wouldn't mind reading books. I do wonder if they'd want me to insert my own thoughts throughout. No I'm guessing they wouldn't want that would they. So it is up to you grasshopper to decide on whether or not you will actually comment.
I think I might have a theory about the other blog going down and by the way today's post is up and it might be entertaining so stop on by if you want to. I don't really do much commenting with that blog since the bulk of my commenting since I always seem to be the commentor and not the comment would be over here which could explain the rank to go up while that one went down although I know people go over there. Sure many of them probably don't realize that they can leave comments but I do have proof since I have one of those counter thingies. I have no idea when I put it in but it hasn't been there the whole time and according to that people are coming. Sure they might be running away in the next second but they are coming which is something. So I'm going to make more of an effort to comment over there.

 | 02:32 pm - Oh, it is *OUR* fault that no aliens came yesterday... Okay...I really want to believe. Really.
I'm in a very odd spiritual place right now, so I'm really open to everything that comes my way. Since I was a kid, I've believed in something other than what we can see around us. So...aliens would be cool to see...
However. Good Gods - this is like the Spiritualist movement where the "readers" knocked on tables and had "help" contacting spirits (like using fans, etc.)
But this? Wow.

 | 07:27 pm - Such a fungi to be with... The train-bus was made of extra fail tonight, as they randomly decided to put us on the coach doing two stops first, rather than going direct to 'my' stop first, which they have the previous two nights (that possibly only makes sense to Ros, oh well) anyway the upshot being it took an hour rather than 30 minutes.
But! From the window I saw an actual fairy ring*! A perfect circle of mushrooms, on one of the roundabouts. I'm not sure I've ever seen one before. Plus, there is a proper red 'n' white toadstool on the grass opposite our office. I might take a picture of it, if I can do so without looking weird. Well, weirder than usual, anyway.

 | 12:51 pm - Blah, blah, blah, blah. These cramps are fucking killing me. I took some motrin and they should be kicking in soon. I hope. Where the hell is Edward when I need him? He can eat my uterus and I wouldn't have to worry about this every month. lol
Heroes was just crazy. I was shocked by the end with what they made Hiro do. Do not fuck with my Hiro! He is not going there ok?! Plus it just left me with so many freaking questions. Uh!
Next Week's True Blood is going to have Eric! *squees* I am so fucking excited. XD

 | 12:53 pm - RIP, James E. Reilly James E. Reilly—best known as a past writer for Days of Our Lives, and the head writer for Passions—has passed away following heart surgery, at the age of 60. May he rest in peace.
While I didn’t care for his writing the last time he was on Days, it was because of his stuff that I actually started watching the show in the first place, back in 1995. The possession of Marlena was the first storyline I watched and became hooked on the show. Back then, it was good—well, to me, at least.
On a happier note, I got in touch with a neighbor, who phoned her adult daughter (who works at the radio station I’ve mentioned in a previous post) and asked her about a list for Halloween stuff in the area. She got in touch with someone else, who got in touch with the person that runs the website, and an updated page (which apparently replaces the page for 2006 listings completely) is up now. It looks like it’s being updated every few hours, from what I can tell.

 | 07:45 pm - Friends love Lately I've had myself a few marathons of this favourite sitcom of mine - all ten seasons in two months. I finished two days ago and I immediately wanted to start from the beginning, I love this show so much. There's no better cure for bad mood for me than curling up on the couch with a bar of chocolate and a few Friends episodes.
This quote illustrates exactly why I love the show and these characters so much:
Joey: If homo sapiens were really homo, is that why they're extinct? Ross: Homo sapiens are people! Joey: Hey, I'm not judging!
And I have a poll for you!

 | 07:03 pm - A glorious return to LJ and cat separation anxiety I've been a very bad LJ-er lately, not posting anything and only commenting from time to time. I can't even blame it on being busy, just plain lazy and too absorbed in other fun stuff. But no more! I've decided to try an experiment - I have to write at least one entry a day, even if I feel I don't have anything to write about, because despite what we may think sometimes, there's always something to write about. I usually have great ideas when I'm on the bus to work, sometimes I even have entire entries written in my head, but then I go to work, I get busy and distracted with a million things and I forget all about what I wanted to write. And when I get home I usually don't really feel like doing much thinking at all. But I shall conquer this!
I was going to start the experiment on Monday, but then I thought, what's wrong with Wednesday and here I am.
