This software is definitely a bit buggy, and it doesn't always want to post entries. But that's a problem for my personal journal.

I am now a resident of Oak Forest, living with my sister (for the very BRIEF time being). This isn't home. ;) Of course, I miss Mason City, which is really HOME, but film school is just too important to me. ;)

So yeah. Just thought I'd post over here for all you who haven't friended me (what ARE you all thinking!? LOL).

Also, it's dead here which is all the more reason to post. ;)

In other news.... I have a nasty cold. Gawd, I hate being sick..... But cold medication is a lovely lovely thing...... :)

I confess, I've been checking in on AQG from time to time. Particularly as I saw some of the trollier than thou members of TK start making little pointed comments about EI and referring to going over there.

EI's been handling them beautifully, imo.

But I have to pay a special salute to this entry from LV.

And I'll edit to add in that there's no effort that I'm aware of for EIers to PC-ize TK in a systematic fashion. There have been rumors for a long time that there is a systematic effort of a small faction of TKers is trying to troll us here. So if there is any backlash where you see TK becoming more warm and muzzy, well, whose fault was that? One ought to inspect one's own eyes for motes before looking to the beam in others (so to speak.) Let freedom ring.

I've just been hit on.

By what I frequently refer to as a "North Iowa Hick."

Disgusting unwashed look, scrubby old hat, no teeth in the front upper region of the mouth.

Told me "you look good." with that knowing smile that men seem to all use when hitting on women.

I'm stuck between being flattered that someone of the opposite sex finds me appealing and nauseated to the point of heaving everything I've eaten for the last week. :p
