Basic Info About EXILE  This is the first LJ community dedicated to エグザイル (EXILE), a seven member Japanese Pop music group. Formed by Hiro (ex-Zoo & leader of EXILE), EXILE was originally known as J Soul Brothers in 1999; in 2001 the name changed to EXILE. J Soul Brothers was revived again by Hiro in 2007, where he helped another 7-member group form. EXILE's original line up was Atsushi & Shun (Shunsuke Kiyokiba) as vocalists, & Hiro, Makidai, Matsu, Usa, & Akira as performers. Shunsuke Kiyokiba left EXILE in 2006 to continue as soloist. Takahiro joined EXILE as new vocalist to replace Shun when he won the Exile Vocal Battle Audition 2006: Asian Dream summer audition. As of March 1st, 2009, EXILE & J Soul Brothers are merged into a 14-member group, with Atsushi & Takahiro as vocalists, Nesmith & Shokichi as vocalists & performers, Hiro, Makidai, Matsu, Usa, Akira, Kenchi, Keiji, Tetsuya, Naoto, & Naoki as performers. |
