I have so much to do with the next few days of work and packing to move on 1 June, I'm going to have to go on hiatus until 2 June, at the earliest. I don't know if we'll have internet access at the house that fast, but I should be able to get to the library that day to let people know if that's the case.

Sorry. I have the relatively new Armand St. Just (petite_frere). I have been horribly slow as it as trying to juggle these things for the last week or so. It's best just to let the pressure off and let go until we're moved. Apologies to those I've threaded with so far. I intend to be back.

I'm going to be away from Saturday to Monday, EST, and then after that I will be leaving for CHINA on the 22nd, set to return home on 21 July. THING IS, I don't know if I'll have Internet access while in China -- I'll do my damnedest, but there exists a relatively possible scenario in which I'm literally cut off for two months.

IN THAT CASE, Sasuke will be going on a two month hiatus and can probably be assumed to be wandering around town, variously attacking the city limits, trying to fly through them, or trying to dig under them. >__>

Hi! I'm not too hot at introductions, but I go by Iceburgundy. I hope to have lots of fun here with everyone, RP communities are 90% of the reason I signed up for Livejournal in the first place, heehee. So, I'm really new at all this - even simply posting messages - so please forgive any silly messups I make (there will likely be a lot!)

My first character here is Riku Tachibana, from Onmyou Taisenki - I don't expect anyone to know him, as Onmyou's a rather obscure series. Just know that Riku is a very friendly, sweet person, albeit shy, so speak softly to him and I'm sure everyone will get along just great.

My laptop (affectionately named Rinoa) went BOOM just a few minutes ago. Sooo, I only have internet when I'm in the lab at school, and since I'll be leaving here on May 9th, I won't have internet until I get back to Washington. That's only a two day road trip, but after that, it'll be sporadic.

Hopefully I'll have replaced the hard drive in Rinoa pretty quick, but until then, I will be scarce. I'm sorry. :<

this means: Rinoa Heartilly, Yuna, Shin Seijuurou, and Sanada Ryo are going to be... NOT AS ACTIVE AS I'D LIKE. S-sigh.

Starting tonight, another option for conversation is available; namely, Text Only chatting as opposed to face-to-face talking.

The circles will display a more LJ-like format, including the icon that you use and then the text entry. You can use these by putting [Text Only] or something in the title of your post/comments. This is for characters who are less likely to talk if they have to do it through a live feed with someone else.

This is also how your characters will be able to view other conversations (or comment trees) between other characters when they're not already part of the talk (should you wish to pop in and interrupt someone else's conversation, that's how it would work.) :D

Also, keep an eye out! Soon (very soon!) there will be either a special event or one of the wish keys will be found! Remember, you can go here to apply for one!

Please welcome Sanada Ryo~ He's a spunky, loveable little hero from Yoroiden Samurai Troopers (Ronin Warriors in America). The anime was made in the 80's, so bear with his BAD HAIR, FORKED EYEBROWS AND SIDEBURNS, HAHAH. God, I love this series. I watched it as a kid, the dub anyway, and just recently got the subtitled version. 8D

Anyhow, he's very friendly and completely adorable ~~at least I think so~~ so don't hesitate to pounce on him! Chances are he'll pounce back.

Howdy, y'all.

Just here to announce the Character Complaint system, which I meant to set up back when the game first started but then I got lazy. Please, if you see something that bothers you make use of this! Don't just let it bottle up inside, because chances are some players may not even realize they're doing anything wrong. It's only fair to keep everyone informed to keep everyone happy and make the roleplaying experience that much better.

Also, a reminder: Wish Keys should be discovered soon! Give everyone something to talk about, apply for a Wish Key. Any wish is fine, whether it's personal character plots, affecting just your character, or city-wide events!

Also the characters that have been here longer than two weeks should be starting to have dreams where they're watching themselves from someone else's point of view, or be unable to shake the feeling that they're being watched.

☆☀Character Complaints☀☆

In order to ensure a better roleplaying experience, we're setting up a Character Complaint system.

How To Use This:

If you see someone being out-of-character and you don't feel comfortable about talking to them directly for whatever reason, you may send your complaint through the mods.

Consequences:

The first time your character is complained about, you will receive a Warning. The second and third time, a Strike. If you are complained about again after that, you will be asked to drop your character.

If you feel like the complaint was unfounded, you may attempt to contest strikes to explain your actions by replying to the e-mail you receive from the mods containing the complaint. Bear in mind that strikes won't automatically be removed from your record just because you respond.

Fill that out and send it to excursusmods@gmail.com with the title "Character Complaint."

If you have a perceptive character, they can possibly notice one or two little bitty flying beetles snooping around in their rooms before buzzing off? :D? Keep in mind that Excursus is a weirdly clean city, so seeing insects inside buildings might be a little weird.
