Also, forgive my ignorance, but what are the lines outside on the margins for? Am muy curious.

I think they're guides for gutters. (Like how Blue Line boards have them in the middle on the top/bottom/sides?) I'm not honestly sure; they're templates my professor gave us in college for thumbnails.
