Sign ups for disney_rumble Round 5 has started. The sign ups continue until August 1st, when the first icons are due. This is a really cool community. It's sort of like LIMS in that it has rounds and voting and a winner at the end, but a rumble has no elimination. The winners are based on points accumulation. Who ever has the most points at the end wins. It's very fun. Sign up here if you're interested. And tell them I sent you! (Seriously, you get points for referrals.)

I have completed an Alphabetical Challenge. The idea is to make 26 icons, one representing each letter of the alphabet. I made them Narnian icons.

Hey all. Good news! I have been nominated in three categories this month at wd_awards. It's so exciting and flattering. I'm nominated in Bare Necessities (the textless category), Topsy Turvy (cropping), and So This Is Love (icons featuring couples). Two of them were from my 100 Disney Couples icon set and one nomination was from winning second place at disney_hush. I encourage everyone to go and vote in every category. My third icon set for disney100. This time to make it even more challenging, I have changed all the Artist's Choice to theme ones as well (I used 50 of the themes from a challenge at disney_hush). On top of that, I've decided to make all of them hush icons. Therefore, there will not be any readable text or symbols (such as !, @, *, ?). I'm using the rules from disney_hush. This set's overall theme will be Disney Couples, so every icon will have a romantic couple in it (though not necessarily the ones that end up together). The table html I edited from the one at icons100 made by obsessivefangrl and found here.

Great news, everyone!  My Peter Pan Icon tied for first over at wd_awards.  I'm so happy!  I got this great banner!  Thanks to everyone who voted!

mystery_stills was founded by those and for those who love mysteries and those who solve them. We will be having challenges focusing on topics from vintage crime novels, famous historical cases, fictional detectives to the great Hollywood mysteries.

We will have the community up and running shortly, with the first two icon challenges being posted this Friday, the 15th of February.
