My customized navigation links or sidebar won't show up!

You're using LASTN_WEBSITE overrides to customize your navigation links or to add a sidebar to your journal, but it just doesn't work. It won't show up.

Double-check your user info page to make sure you've defined a website. You should see something like this:



Don't see the website line? Then you haven't defined a website.

1. Go to the edit info page at http://www.livejournal.com/editinfo.bml.
2. Find the "Webpage Link" line, as seen in the picture below.



3. Enter a website URL - http://www.livejournal.com is an easy one. Just make sure you include the http:// at the beginning of the URL.
4. Click the "save changes" button at the bottom of the page.
5. Go back to your journal - your overrides should now be working. If you've followed these instructions carefully and they still aren't, feel free to make a post in the community. Please don't comment for help here.



Edited 8/9/05 because some user accused me of being a completely different person, cussed me out, and claimed this tutorial told her that she HAD to use my website URL.
