Welcome to
everydaydid!
Who/what this community is for: Trauma-based and natural multiplicity alike, new and experienced multiples alike, non-multiples interested in multiplicity, functional systems, intelligent discussion, sensible questions, MPD/DID humour, general discussion and quirks of day-to-day life in your system, and maybe even a little support.
Who/what it is NOT for: Unrelated poetry/artwork, aggressive/unruly/obnoxious system members, "lilspeak", unnecessary drama.
This is a community geared towards DID/MPD and natural multiplicity. This is not an exclusive community, however posts focusing on otherkin/fictionkin/otakukin/soulbonding will be considered off topic. Many other communities focus more so on these types of multiplicity, and so this community focuses more on "basic" DID/MPD/natural multiplicity.
If you are seeking people to talk to about otherkin/soulbonding/etc, here are a few good communities:
soulbonding
from_fiction
0therkin
Please let me know if there are any others you feel should be added.
NOTE: Just to make sure I'm perfectly clear on this, this community is NOT just for the DSM-IV version of DID. It is for natural and perfectly (most of the time) functioning multiplicity, also!
Rules:
· Anyone can post if it is on topic.
· I don't ask that everyone posts an introduction, but I do find that they are useful. Long winded descriptive posts about your system's past and members are fine, and usually more interesting to read than the usual name/age/number of system members.
· If your post is longer than, say, 15-20 lines in length, or contains images, please use an lj-cut. Common courtesy, and all that. No one wants their friend's page messed up.
· Do not delete your posts, delete comments, or screen comments. If there is an issue, contact me and I will handle it.
· This is an important one. If you really and truly cannot spell, USE SPELLCHECK. We do not want to have to decode your posts. I will not berate someone if they make note of your awful spelling.
· You don't NEED to friends-lock your posts, but it's probably a good idea. Don't feed the trolls.
· I will add to this list as needed.
This is not a trigger-free community.
This is not a pro-integration community, nor is it an anti-integration community.
Other related communities:
multiplicity
fragmentedminds
multiplemonday
didsupport
nonstupidplural
abusesurvivor
_survivors_
Some of these may be better suited to you than this community, and the whole point is to find one that works for you. More can be found by searching "multiplicity" in Interests, but they are varying degrees of active.
