→ I started this video in early November just after my Battlestar Inferno video. I'm not sure why I couldn't make it come together until now. But I do wanna thank Dayl for encouraging me to finally get it done. I did it. So now it's done. Thank the Lords of Kobol!

→ My whole theory was this video was that it wasn't going to be a shipper video, or a triangle video, but rather a statement. That both Lee and Sam lost Kara, long before she ever died, and that it has a lot more to do with Kara and her perpetual frakked-up-ness, than it has to do with either of them.

→ I think I did have some reservations at first about using the song. Something about using a song with lyrics like "na na na na na" and "I miss you" just screams, STOP! PUT IT DOWN! to me. But this time, I didn't listen. Go me.

→ I almost didn't put coloring on this. I was this!close. I'm not sure what happened there.

→Whew!

Ohhhhhhhh, KC. *SO* beautiful!!!!! I really love the colouring and your editing, oh my gosh! Your subtle use of motion blur in here was REALLY great; almost unnoticeable at first but it really packs a punch. And that last shot of the little girl (who I'm assuming is little!Kara) fading through into adult Kara was just gorgeous.

Yay the Kara/Leoben paint!sex scene, too!!!!

Thanks Kayl! I'm glad you like the coloring I was actually going to leave it out, but I changed my mind last minute. There's a couple parts in there where the fade is less than subtle hahah but I'm glad it works! And right, that's mini!Kara!

This is so sad, you've really highlighted how much kara fucks up all her chances for happiness. But in a weird way it also gives me hope that maybe this season will be different for her. That her 'death' will have changed something inside her.

Quite an amazing video! And a daring song too! I myself wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole! lol! (Maybe because I watch too many PB&J vids to that song) But you made it work amazingly. I love the subtle effects and the different angle you shown to Kara's relationships. Great job!

I adore the concept of it, and the editing of course. You had some incredible masking there and just...KARA!!! I loved the last shot a lot. :)

Srsly, I adore your coloring. I love it especially in this vid because it's so slight. You can hardly tell that you did something, and yet you did! You made a tutorial once, right? Where be it? :P

First of all, I have to say that I think it's awesome that you had the guts to use this song - I personally love it, but I know that some people might be turned off by it - but I think it's awesome you went ahead and used it anyway. Balls. Nice ;)
I think the coloring you decided to use worked very nicely too - very subtle, but still very pretty!
→ I love that little bit of motion blur you used right on the beat - it looks so cooool. I think I told you before, but it totally reminds me of in SPN when there's like a spirit or something..so very nifty indeed
→ I love that you showed her actual death right in the beginning - I think that worked really well to set the stage for the rest of the video, going back and showing that she was 'gone' long before that
→ 1:12 Awwww Kara/Anders. I love this part. A perfect fit with the lyrics, and that last shot of him standing there with the plane taking of just...breaks my heart.
→ 1:57 I told you this already too, but I love those beats there - the similarities between the two pairings. Just looks cool and creative and awesome.
→ 2:17 favorite part of the whole video, so intense and the shot with that coloring and the light coming through and it's just all so pretty and...yes. *loves*
And lots of squeeing for Leoben ;) Totally
Plus the ending is just gorgeous and I love that it comes full circle with the boxing match and then that shot of her at the very end..Oh Kara.

In short....or not apparently...I loved this SO so much. Amazing my love :)

I love this video and keep playing it. The last fifteen seconds from Kara/Sam on Caprica to little girl Kara fading is particularly poignant. Many vids grab me with their beginnings (yours are no exception) but I like the endings of your vids very much as well. So touching. And I miss Kara. How many days?

I really love this video. It was one where I had to watch it more than once until it clicked and I was like, "What the hell! This is awesome!". Looking at not just Kara really, but looking at how Kara effected the men around her. It was beautiful. My favorite part was at the end when you went into Leobon. Your use of clips were excellent.
