Right, Introduction time. I play on Trib, and have since it went live. Yes, I know, that was like 6 years ago. Yes, I know, I should get out more. Yes, you can bite me. Anyhow. I just came back from a year long hiatus, liquidated all my old characters, and started a new rogue. He's 31 now, and if I have anything to say about it, he'll hit 70. I've not been able to get a character over 53 like, ever, and EQ's in the twilight of it's life, or it soon will be, and I'll be damned if I don't see Time before they take it down for good. Yeah. Well... I've been addicted to EverQuest for 4 years? I don't know. I lost count. =P.
I play on the Veeshan server and have many, many characters. My main is a 52 bard. I have another problem besides being addicted, and that's being able to stick to one character. Heh. At the moment my other characters are 29 enchanter, 34 druid, 34 necromancer, 32 wizard, 28 rogue, and a 35 magician. I'm currently working on the mage.

I don't know what else to say, so ask if you want to know anything.

Well...more like stressful. My guild got it into their heads that they're going to kill the dragon in Skyfire, Suled Dar's Shade, for the VP key quest. Unfortunately now that they have the idea, their skulls are to thick to push it back out again. Two "uber" guilds have wiped on this raid in the past week...with raid forces of over 50 people. If we're LUCKY we'll have 30+ people. And who's the lucky Raid Coordinator that gets picked to lead this one? Moi, of course. We are all going to die. I've tried telling them this, they just won't listen...all they say is "So we'll die! Big deal, we have to give it a shot. Bring it on Aana!!" Argh....and of course when I told Catcorpse this his response was "Nice knowin' ya, sis." Thanks for the support, bro! Because there's absolutely nothing like herding my guild member's to their deaths. Not to mention the fact that I'm just NOT cut out to lead this raid. Its taken me days to research it, and its going to take me at least an hour to get everything set-up--people in the right spot, get the clerics on a healing rotation that will actually WORK, make sure all my rangers are far enough out not to get hit with the dragon's Area of Effect spells, but close enough in to still make their arrows effective. And then today I came across the realization that this dragon is an Old World Belly-Caster...i.e. if you want to hit it with a spell or a weapon you have to be pretty much standing beneath its belly. Bleh, bleh and double-bleh! How do I get roped into these damn things??

Hi, I'm new to the community. I have a 66 Druid (Deosil) and 51 Beastlord (Greban) on Bristlebane. I'm also having some problems with my PC, so I'm hoping one of you guys can help me here...my PC is randomly freezing and restarting itself. Occasionally it will come back with "Your system has recovered from a serious error" etc etc etc and long story short it tells me it was a thread stuck in the device driver or something and tells me to go to Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > Troubleshoot and turn my hardware acceleration all the way off and uncheck the enable write combining box. Only deal is, EQ won't start with it all the way down, so I took it down to as low as it will go and still play EQ. It still freezes. This happened immediately after my motherboard died and I replaced my motherboard and my video card (now running a 256mb Radeon 9550). I even updated the drivers on my video card because EQ yelled at me the first time I started it up about having incorrect drivers, and I wish I had written down specifically which driver it told me or I would go try to download it again, but at the time it just linked me to where to go and I didn't think about remembering it. If anyone here has any ideas I would be most appreciative.

Hey All!

Am new to comm but hoping anyone anyone has some helpful tips or advice. We had a 2 week free trial and have been playing away (2 chars @ Lvl 10) and this morning we get the sad account closed message and so we set up our CC to keep playing but that was over 5 hours ago and it still says account closed!

Has this ever happened to any of you? The Help online and KB arent helping, and the phone Cust. Svc is closed on the weekends. I sent a couple emails but who knows what that will do. I am cracking out over here and had plans to meet a group in CB a bit ago that I did not want to break.

Freaking out, what to do ?!?!?!?!?

I just joined and wanted to give a nod to my fellow EQ addicts ;) I've been playing since 1998. I have strictly played on one server - TM. I started with a warrior and then switched to a cleric. Last year I got bored with my cleric so I made a necro and I have to say she is my favorite of all. ~grin~ I stopped playing hardcore when my friends retired from the game. Just took down Fennin Ro about 30 minutes ago, did the Rathe last night, and Xegony 2-3 days ago... In about 4-5 hours we're scheduled to do Coirnav, and then my gimp ass will be time flagged =)

Hey everyone. I am an EQ newbie, but that doesn't mean I'm clueless! My boyfriend, who's main is a 65 pally with the Legion of Scales on the Seventh Hammer server got me addicted after we started dating a few months ago. I currently have a lvl 22 Mage, also on the Seventh Hammer Server and a lvl 6 Beastlord. I know everyone says that getting past your 50s is hard, but my 20s are giving me hell.

Oh, and to the person who was worried about getting past 10 and having to find your corpse, it's not so bad. I promise. I went to "The Overthere" the other day. Yeah, yeah. A lvl 22 mage had better have a group in OT. But I'm a hardheaded mage. So I went right up to a red, summoned my pet, got ready for battle and attacked. About 30 minutes of searching, 15 minutes of owning up to what I did and asking for help and another 15 minutes of waiting for one of my friends to get on a bard and ind me leter, I was looting m corpse then running for my life to the zone because I was aggroing too much for him to help and I was training like hell...way too much to gate. So as bad as it gets, just laugh. That's all I did. I had a fear of dieing....then I died 5 times in one night. i fear no more!
