25 Chronicles of Prydain icons
It's been a while since I did some iconing, but more than half of these Chronicles of Prydain (Lloyd Alexander) Livejournal icons were made much earlier but never uploaded. I added a few more just now (but I still mean to go through the rest of the covers). Everyone should check out this series of five YA fantasy books if they haven't yet read this. Love love love.

They're the book covers from some of the earlier editions of Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander. These covers are the prettiest I've seen they make of PC, I have to agree; I'm not sure I like the newer covers myself.

I love artwork like these. :D And I'm glad you like them as well.

These are really great icons - I couldn't remember the cover artist right away, but it's Jody Lee, I think, and I think you're right, very nice!
It wasn't until I was older that I realized how many really great fantasy artists worked on the books I had as a young adult. Strange to go back and see them now.
Anyway, love the icons, too - I like the angles and positioning!

Wonderful wonderful. I love Lloyd Alexander. Too bad he passed. Gosh. He's my favorite author. I loved his Westmark Trilogy. They were godly.

You must read it. It's just one of the books, that you can never put down. I have read them over, and over. About 4 times each book. Wonderous. Makes me so happy actually. XD

I may never use these, ever, but I will definitely bookmark this page and look at it often. I had almost forgotten about these books, but they were my absolute favorites growing up. I don't remember these covers - I wish I had them. Thank you for reviving a childhood love affair.
