What an awesome movie!  I'm seriously still affected by what i saw on the screen. Excellent performances (especially from Ledger and Eckhart), incredible dialogue (not what we usually expect from summer blockbusters, the script is so relevant). Nolan did something beyond words with The Dark Knight, it's an event, 2:30 hours to never forget. And i can't get a lot of lines out of my head lol.

So i did some crappy icons (especially from The Joker) really quickly. Here they're:

I really love my little brother -- and not only because he's been allowing me to shamelessly attack all of his comics of late, which, given how protective he is of them is a marvel in and of itself. No, the marvelous little munchkin has decided that my time spent at home -- against my will, for the most part, though my psychiatrist seems to believe that I am, as yet, still unfit to rejoin the human race without supervision in case I end up losing myself or having a panic attack somewhere -- recently bought me the whole of Heroes season One. Which, as I've discovered, costs about R700.00 -- which is, easily, about two months of his pocket money. 

I was amazingly touched, as you can imagine. 

So, as a thank you, I've endeavoured to try my hand at writing fanfiction. Something that, I'll admit, I've never really done before. I've read it, sure. But never really written any.

Now, the request itself is rather specific: he asked me to try and do something with one of his favourite characters from the online comic. Her name is Linda Tavara; an evolved human with the ability to steal other people's auras. The result, apparently, is almost always fatal and leaves the individual drained of life.
