Sooo tired, so this will be short.
Christmas was good. Parents loves their gift, brother loved his. I got a new pair of western boots (squee) and a sonic screwdriver among other awesome things.
Dinner was good (sauce had too much mustard though. BLEH!!)
Doctor Who was on crack! Bad fanfiction crack! But it was hilarious and I still love it. haha. Poor DT, Poor Doctor =(( Master is INSANE, but I LOVE JS. He's amazing! So amazing that he gets his name shortened too. haha.
What else, good desert. Played Zelda for a while (video game tradition ftw), fun times. lol.
Texted for people 'Merry Christmas'. Getting together with my DVC buddies on Sunday (SOO EXCITED!!)
Oh, and yesterday I tried to reach out to a once friend. Didn't get any response, but it's ok, as long as their doing well.
Also, note to self, talk to Bryan! He's reaching out, which is really nice. I love when friends I've lost touch with come back into my life. It's nice. Especially at this time of year.
I've already began thinking up New Year's resolutions. Fun stuff.
I wish Mike would txt me...
Ok, really sleepy. Nightynight,

So, it's done. My gallbladder's finally out at last. The exact story will have to take a bit of explaining, however.
I had to show up early to the hospital so I could check in and get the remaining pre-op stuff out of the way; I distinctly remember looking at some Persona 4 fanart and reading articles on the planned sequels for Dead Space and Mass Effect in a gaming magazine in the lobby while I was waiting. Once I was checked in, everything proceeded rapidly from that point onwards; next thing I knew, I was already in the operating room, making small talk with the nurses at the same time I was being put under...
By the time I finally came to, I was in the recovery room and back to making more small talk with the nurses assigned to check up on my condition; I somehow managed to squeeze in references to the Pokémon and Call of Duty franchises during a conversation with one of the nurses, too. I soon found out that I had to be kept overnight due to some...complications regarding blood test results and what could possibly be lurking in my bile duct. Despite the general discomfort I was feeling all throughout (let's see you try to deal with a constant, nagging pain directly in your bellybutton, among other things), the overnight stay wasn't that bad; the room they transferred me to was warm, the bed was actually very comfortable, and the morphine drip they set up for me certainly helped matters.
Above all else, however, the TV in my hospital room was the major contributing factor towards keeping me in high spirits; while the channel interface they had set up was a bit clunky and required some getting used to, the advantages (namely, getting to watch pay-per-view movies for free) far outweighed the disadvantages. I marathoned Valkryie, Star Trek, Up, Iron Man, Monsters vs. Aliens, Bolt, Get Smart, and Quantum of Solace simply because I had nothing better to do; I couldn't really sleep because of the pain I was feeling, and various other factors (RNs and CNAs coming in every so often to check on my status, a tendency to hiccup at random times) would have interrupted my sleep anyway. I managed to watch a few episodes of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Metalocalpyse, and Walker, Texas Ranger, bits and pieces of Patton, and the entirety of The Dirty Dozen as well; such are the joys of insomnia and ready access to a television.
I was finally discharged earlier today after it was decided that my anomalous blood test results were more likely caused by liver inflammation than a blockage of the bile duct (the latter of which would have also produced fever, nausea, and jaundice; while I did come close to throwing up twice during my stay, I never had a fever or jaundice). While I technically have no diet restrictions, I'm trying to play it safe for now; they had to test me out with liquid foods at first to see if I can keep them down successfully (which I did), and I'll be sticking to those for the next few days. There's still some significant irritation of that one incision site, but it should go away eventually. Overall, I'm glad to have the whole thing over with at last.

So, I'm going in for surgery tomorrow to get my gallbladder removed. Even though it's an outpatient procedure, I most likely won't be in any real shape to use a computer until Wednesday at the earliest. That's that, I suppose.

I don't exactly have it planned
out, but it will be unexpected
and quiet.
ideally, he wouldn't put it in the
food because i don't eat too
delicately and that would be an
issue.
it'd be like gagging on a truffle,
only worse.
and it'll be a ring
with diamonds embedded in
the band because good lord
it would be hard to wear a
rock on my hand all day.
additionally, amy adams in leap
year is super pretty.

WHy do I post on here twice one day then not for like a week and a half... I soooo don't know.
Pretty much everybody's home from the college at this point, which is pretty sweet. Yay people to hannnnnggg with. <3 it!!
When they talk about college, I kinda miss living away.. I mean, just being all chill in the dorms and hanging with friends all day (I hated the food and when people were too busy studying and you'd be hanging out alone in your room. THAT SUCKED.)
I miss my DVC friends sooo damn much. They are so much fun and chill and are horse people and just really cool people in general and I swear, I could tell Kaitlyn anything and she gets me plus she's so damn innocent its cute (and so funny) I love my DVC buddies. T_T Being without them is sad.
Speaking of sad... It's just that, that I can't take down all the shit I have around my room that I got from friends I don't speak with anymore. I feel like I need to do one of those box things, where you pack out their stuff and bring it back (its usually done as a breakup thing, but friends do it too) but then I'd feel dumb and I don;t really want to part with it yet. SO lame, I know, but part of me is still hopeful... not sure why. lame. And lame that I still care. Lame all around. I'm sick of loving my friends so much. Sucks when they turn out to be sucky people and then I'm heartbroken. Suck suck suckity suck suck. Sucks.
Lol, yeah, late posts are always me being emo on paper(sorta) so I can get the thoughts out and maybe sleep.
I was putting old concert tix on my cork board and ran into some stuff that made me sad, which sparked this. That and I severely miss my dvc friends. TT_TT

Funimation Confirms Strike Witches Cast, FMA Street Date
Okay, so Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood will be shipping in May 2010. Fair enough. What I'm really interested in is the Strike Witches cast, however. Let's see who they got:
Yoshika Miyafuji - Cherami Leigh Mio Sakamoto - Kira Vincent-Davis (hur hur, Kira) Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke - Anastasia Munoz Lynette Bishop - Kate Bristol Perrine H. Clostermann - Jad Saxton Erica Hartmann - Luci Christian Gertrud Barkhorn - Stephanie Sheh (?!) Francesca Lucchini - Trina Nishimura Charlotte E. Yeager - Jamie Marchi Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen - Caitlin Glass Sanya V. Litvyak - Jennifer Forrester
I don't know the actresses playing Minna, Perrine, Francesca, or Sanya (especially Sanya's; this is apparently Ms. Forrester's first voice acting gig, or so ANN says). I'm only vaguely familiar with the actresses playing Yoshika, Lynette, and Charlotte. Somehow, I'm not surprised by Kira as Mio, Luci as Erica, or Caitlin as Eila. Stephanie as Gertrud, on the other hand, perplexes me somewhat. She usually does work in California; why is she going over to Texas?
