Game
the first tale covers Miyako and Kei's arcs, with interludes between Yuuko and Yuu.
the latter tale covers Chihiro and Mizuki's arcs, with the final arc detailing Yuuko and Yuu's past, and their relationship with each other.
Bringing these two tales together forms the "fairy tale" as a whole. With the help of the final arc, it shows how much love can endure...
Anime
a tale of memories covers Miyako, Kei, and Chihiro's arcs, with some minimal information about Yuuko and Yuu's history.
a tale of melodies will probably cover Mizuki's story and the final arc, which happens to be the longest and saddest tale of them all.
