| About: | Have you ever used ethnobotanicals for shamanic, recreational, or medicinal purposes? Are you interested in learning about ethnobotanicals? Are you curious about "legal highs"? Then this community was created for you!  ethnobotanicals and entheogens are legal, herbal substances that have been used by different cultures for a variety of purposes, including enjoyment, treating illness, and exploring the mind. Discussion of ethnobotanicals or entheogens and their usage is welcome here! Post your own experiences, give advice to others, ask questions, and discuss the indications and use of these magnificent "teaching plants." Because these sacred plants are legal in many countries, including the US, there are absolutely no restrictions on discussing dosages, extractions, ingestion and preparation methods, or the names of suppliers! However, please remember that any of the above information regarding illegal drugs in the US is forbidden here. Please try to keep your posts somehow related to ethnobotanicals and their use, though other substances can be mentioned. Also, please understand that DXM and other OTC medications are not ethnobotanicals; they are Schedule IV drugs in the US, meaning that they are illegal to ingest in any way that is inconsistent with the manufacturer's instructions. Please direct questions about these OTC medications to other communities with such a focus. Remember to respect these herbs, and above all, respect each other! No bashing or flaming will be tolerated here. The primary focus of this community is to foster and promote knowledge about these little-understood plants.
