My god I am sorry I must be boring you all to death. 3 posts in one day, who does that? Nobody has that much to say about their lives.
Anyway I had to update because...
I just listened to Keith & Nicole's radio interview thing on The Kyle & Jackie O Show. Can't believe I haven't done that before, goodness he called her "baby" it was adorable. I love the fact that after Nicole passes the phone to Keith she goes to get Sunday and brings her in the kitchen where Keith is and he's like "oh here she is" in the most adorable misty-eyed way. And you can totally hear Nicole in the background saying stuff while Keith's chatting to the radio host. They are like the cutest little family ever. OMG it made my night week. Listen to it like seriously IT IS LOVE
Also I ordered 30 rock season 1 on dvd << yayness!
And now I actually have to go to bed because it's 3.43am and my eyelids are like lead.

Since the first TDK Cast Picspam (Aaron Eckhart) I have seen the film for a third time, this time at an IMAX theater 1+ hours away. It was my first double date between Dan and I and our best friend Terko and his girlfriend Jess, which was fun.
It was mostly worth the journey, but don't be fooled-- you're not missing that much if you can't see it in IMAX. My favorite part of this improved viewing was the sound. I felt completely immersed in the sound. It was so loud, so clear, without being deafening. Even though Nolan shot certain sequences in the IMAX format, it was mostly just the helicopter shots over the city. A few of the action sequences would shift briefly into the larger IMAX scale (interestingly enough, when the film changed aspect ratios it wasn't obnoxious as I thought it might be, nor did it detract at all from the viewing). But, it wasn't anything spectacular. Now, if the whole film was in that format, that might have been another story.
And, I must say, it got even better on the third viewing. I was hesitant going into it because it really is such an emotional (not to mention time) investment, but the SECOND of the first shot of Heath's back, holding the clown mask down at his side with a duffel on the other, I was instantly charged and ready.
In any case, getting to the business at hand. Here is a whopping 80+ of my favorite Christian Bale pictures. I liked him well enough in Little Women, but it took me several years (until Batman Begins) to see what so many other people saw in him. Personally, I'd always been bothered by the way he talks (he has a minor lisp), especially how he puckers out his lips when he speaks. Now I kind of find it endearing, and in any way it doesn't matter; he's a great looking guy.

Here we go, today starts my random, insane football ramblings that will last all the way through the month of February.
The 2008/2009 NFL season starts tonight! It's two teams I've always hated and one of them beat one of my favorite teams in the Super Bowl (wait, no, that was a dream. YES! That never happened), but still FOOTBALL!
I'm going with my same prediction as last year for the Super Bowl: Cowboys vs. Patriots. I was half right last year. I expect the Cowboys to get it together and finally win a goddamn playoff game. It's been awhile, fellas, come on. And this is the last year in that legendary stadium. SEND IT OFF WITH A BANG! Marion Barber is going to have a monster year as the #1 running back for Dallas. He's a beast!
As for the Ravens, I'm wicked excited to see rookie Joe Flacco get the start at QB on Sunday. Kyle Boller is out for the year (part of me is happy about this, now they have no choice but to try out the new guys). I don't expect any miracles this year, especially since the sucky season of last, but I hope they at least break even. The new coach is going to have some work to do.
FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so giddy! I need to buy some alcohol.

Writing isn't like math; in math, two plus two always equals four no matter what your mood is like. With writing, the way you feel changes everything. If I tried to write Midnight Sun now, in my current frame of mind, James would probably win and all the Cullens would die, which wouldn't dovetail too well with the original story. In any case, I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on Midnight Sun, and so it is on hold indefinitely.

I'm gonna do an icon post in like 5 minutes an hour. I hadn't realised I'm made so many icons recently, I thought this was going to be a small post until I started uploading them all. I guess it's because I've been so insanely bored over the last couple of days, although to be honest I'm surprised I haven't felt like this before considering this is the longest break I'll probably ever have. I've been off for over 2 months and have absolutely no work to do. This has resulted in an addiction to morning showings of Gilmore Girls & One Tree Hill and me buying more dvds in the last month than I did in the whole of 2007. I've watched so many films!
Mamma Mia
Saw it twice and LOVED it equally both times. Oh Meryl Streep is so much <3 in her dungarees singing Dancing Queen. I also really didn't expect to like it very much, which is probably why it had so much of an effect on me. Sometimes it's great to see a film that just makes you feel genuinely happy. I even like Pierce Brosnan a little more now (although please please don't ever do a musical again Pierce unless it's a non-singing part.)
The Dark Knight
I didn't love it and I know that puts me in the minority. I think the problem is that this film was so over-hyped that it was always going to be a let down and the fact that I'm not a big fan of comic book films probably didn't help either. And what is up with Christian Bale's batman voice? Seriously, the fact that every time Batman was actually talking I was supressing the urge to laugh probably ruined it for me. However I think Heath Ledger was incredible and I loved Maggie Gyllenhaal. Seeing as they were the two main reasons I even went to see the film that's not that suprising I suppose.

Okay so that was awful. Admittedly it's not my kind of thing I just went to spend some time with my friends who wanted to go. Even they didn't like it.

seriously? that should have been my clue right there. this was designed to be a two season show. they said so at the start of it. all the actors signed a two season script. now... season 4. i forgave season 3, mostly because they brought in an aussie. actually. i think that's probably the only real reason i forgave it. i watched the show out of fangirl loyalty. now... i'm a t'd off fangirl. who's stuck being loyal because somehow it's in my genetic coding or something. damnit.

I'm in a really great mood. I had a random bust of creativity where I finished a ton of headers, I love the Thirteen Promo clip ;), and I've got a Bones ep ready to watch! And it's raining. Has been for over 24 hours. I've got all my windows open, so I've got the smell, the sound and the breeze. It's awesome.
I love rain- always have. When I was I kid, I used to love to dance and run in the rain without an umbrella or jacket (I still do sometimes). I adore the sound of rain- it's my favorite thing to fall asleep to. I love what rain does to my hair too. I have naturally wavy/curly hair, and in the rain it forms perfect curls :).
My favorite movie kiss is in the rain- Breakfast at Tiffany's. I've been kissed in the rain. It wasn't the most romantic relationship in the world (we were ex's who got back together for a day), so I'm expecting at least one more kiss in the rain. (And I wouldn't mind if there was a cat ;) ).
Off to go cook dinner, watch Bones, and maybe dance in the rain a little.

Выбежав на главную сцену, она бросила парик в барабанщика, сама убежала за экраны. OKAY I WAS GOING TO TALK ABOUT IT... but everything's been said. And my thoughts are all swirly and nonsensical and fairly inconsequential, too. All I will say is: OH, NON-TUCKER. WHY MUST YOU BE EVIL. GO BACK TO BEING WITH BAILEY AND STOP SHOOTING AT OUR GUYS. Oh, and that tech guy kinda cracked me up. Twice. Or maybe even three times.
Also? I'm gonna try not to indulge myself in any more spoilers. I think I've done enough damage and I'd like to be a bit more, y'know, surprised from now on. (Will this declaration be upheld? Hell, no. And you hereby have permission to throw tomatoes at me when I break it.)
But that exhilaration of seeing her - well, them - again is unbeatable. No other ship does that to me in that way ('cause, well, I suppose no other ship has their circumstances). ANYWAY. I'd forgotten what it felt like to be insanely excited for this show, even though, um, potholes aplenty.

I just watched an awesome weeks worth of Y&R>I really want Daniel/Amber back together again. Also I can't believe I never made the connection with who Chloe is/was on AMC!!!What a different role for her to play..
It's been nice getting 2 extra nights at work...I appriciate the hours for sure.
 Mail has been great. I got 2 pictures on Friday one of Ian Abercrombie from Voyager and 1 from "Donna" B&B....Then today a letter from Jeremy. And a fan club birthday card from "Rick" from GH and one I've waited a long time for---Olivia Newton-John.Its beautiful. I just love her!
Exercise has been good.I really feel for the recent hurricane(sp) people.Now there maybe another one!I didn't listen to much news today, slept in the afternoon.
Big Brother was fun tonight.I don't want either Renny or Keesha to go home though. Memphis should have stuck with Jerry instead of Dan. I think he'll regret his choice in that one!

major jiggly freaking ass. I hate being here. Maybe if they gave me internet in my dorm room when they said they would, it wouldn't be so bad. But no, I am still internet-less despite the fact that they said it'd be up by 4pm today, and then they changed it to 5pm today. And yet I still have no internet.
I'm one day into not being able to talk to my boyfriend and I am absolutely miserable. It's history repeating itself all over again. Okay, not exactly repeating, but I'm just as miserable as last year at this time. Last year I lost my best friend, and this year, talking to my boyfriend gets cut down to zero, which basically equates to the same thing. Ugh I just hate not having internet and having to go to the computer lab or the library to use the freaking internet. You can give us shitty cable in all of our dorm rooms, which is shittier than basic cable, but we can't have internet right away. Like wtf. It's days like these where I HATE LA VERNE.
Onto brighter subjects...I suppose. First day of classes went well. I didn't do anything in Pilates because it was the first day and all we did was take role pretty much. Then I had work at Admissions which was fun and interesting as always. Speaking of work though--gonna go off on a tangent here--I'm debating returning to the Literacy Center.

Okay, back on track here lol. Not too much to say about Admissions. It was nice seeing everyone again and stuff. I had some little assignments and no data entry. Woot woot! That's basically all we did in the summer by the way hehe. And then I had my Music History and Appreciation class later on in the day. It was slightly boring, but it wasn't completely horrible. I've heard mixed reviews about the class. All of them say that it's a good class, but it's hard. The professor is really nice, though, so that'll make it a little better I guess. Can't hate a nice person's class :P.
It's one day in and I'm already sick of all the drama. Even just hearing about things sickens me. First there was the sorority booth thing for the outdoor event, and then I heard about some RHA thing. Then we're having an emergency meeting for sorority tonight which apparently we're voting for things on, so there's gotta be more drama there.
Speaking of sorority, I hate the rule that we can't go beyond "friendly contact" with potential new members. It's the stupidest rule ever. Basically, we're not supposed to speak to girls who might be interested in rushing because it might sway them one way or another. So you're constantly afraid that people are gonna call you on it when you could be talking to your friend or something. Last year, it was apparently way more intense 'cause some girls wouldn't talk to their roommates because they were too afraid of getting an infraction. It's just so retarded. And apparently, it's only the sororities who have this rule because the guys are encouraged to go out there and get to know the new people and see if they want them to join, which is the point of rushing and everything. Sorry if your girls want to be the snooty bitches that they are and give you a bad rep when they talk to potential new members.
So yeah, that's about it on my first day of school. Oh, I forgot to talk about my dorm room this year. We got the same room, but now there's three people living in it; my roommate from last year, one of my sorority sisters, and myself. So it's super super small for three people. It's actually not too bad because we've done compromising and created some space for ourselves. But I still really want to get my bed bunked so that I can put my desk under it and create even more room. Until I get it bunked, I don't want to put all of my crap on my desk so that I don't have to take it off and then put everything back on when I have to move my desk. So I'm still waiting on that too. I'll actually fill out a maintenance form online right now after I finish posting.
