Welcome to Essence of Words, a community for inspirational stories, quotes, lyrics, etc. (See previous posts for examples.) This community basically deals with general life things. I want this to be an uplifting community, so you won't find much on depression or anything here. You can recommend books in here, too, as long as you keep it positive. (That is, don't say how much you hated a certain book.) You are also free to share things that would help others, such as stress relievers, tips, advice, etc. (Positive only! And make sure it doesn't revolve around love, unless it has to do with the fact that you don't need a man.)

Membership is open, and so are all the posts, but posting access is for select members. I want quality posts (meaning: posts with substance), and starting from here on out, you really need to try to state the person who said the quote, if you can. If you don't know, try Googling it. If you still can't find out, then it's okay.

This community doesn't have many rules, and let's keep it that way. If you don't like something, telling the person won't do anyone any good. If you do post, post large entries under a cut (or most of them under the cut), and please try and tag your entries.

If you want to promote something, go ahead! Just make sure there is something relevant in the entry along with it. (That is, you are free to promote your graphics community or whatever, just as long as you include a quote, story, or something of that nature in the post.)
