Imagine seeing the world through the eyes of a wild Elric, or going head to head with a rare Canadian Envy, or perhaps trying to get the one-up on a neighboring Havoc and seduce his prospective mate.

In the wild, where near-human creatures roam free, you are the predator. You are the prey. You are the one protecting your territory from threat, raising a family, or just trying to survive.

Apply here. You won't be able to post in either of the communities until your application has been accepted.

After your application has been accepted, respond back to the comment with your character's journal. This is so it can be added to the list, and so I know who you are.

The main playing is to be carried out on the community, and not in the character journals. You can use those for whatever you want.

FOR NOW, THE CHARACTER LIMIT PER PERSON IS THREE. This will no doubt change later.

Oh! And don't forget. Not every Edward is an automail variant. Maybe some Alphonses are armorized. Perhaps a Mustang doesn't have any hand-pelts. Make your character original!

Here's the handy little application box majig:

1. Be Respectful. Don't flame, don't take over, and basically, don't be a jerk. OOC fights should be taken elsewhere, and if anything is a problem, don't hesitate to email a mod with a complaint. Don't forget, In-Character and Out-Of-Character are two different things. Just because someone's character doesn't like yours, or does something hurtful doesn't mean they meant a bash on you.

2. Stay In Character. However trite this may seem, it stands to reason that roleplaying means playing the role of a character. Also, no one is perfect. Injuries happen. Mistakes happen. It's life. If something goes wrong, there's not always an answer immediately available.

3. Don't God-Mod. Ask permission before using another person's character. Make sure they're okay with it. Always make sure to give someone a chance to react to what you're doing. Even if you're writing from your character's perspective, controlling the actions of any other character is a big no-no. Keep it clean, boys and girls. (Or just girls? ^^; )

4. Update. We all have lives, of course. But check back and see what's up every so often, and post to keep your character going. Every day isn't a requirement, but try to keep up every week or so.

5. Use Proper Writing. Spell Check is your friend. Grammar and Punctuation are nice to have, too. No one wants to roleplay in chatspeak.

6. In Regards to Kits/Pups. Kits and Pups (or whatever the name of the younger entities happens to be) can be played as an offshoot of their parent, since they'll probably be interacting with each other most. They can be played on the same journal, and therefore counted as one character.

7. In Regards to Original Characters. There will, of course, be exceptions to this rule. Since there are technically no humans in the wilds, their applications (if any) will have to be carefully considered. Of course, there's also a consideration of characters from the fanfiction, such as Marta Dexter, etc. Of course, considering the nature of Zoo!fandom, there will be some leeway. If this leeway is breached, or if there are several complaints, you will recieve a warning, and if it continues, more serious measures will be taken.

8. In Regards To Ratings. Anything rated R or above should be friendslocked and placed behind a cut, with a warning and rating in the title bar. No exceptions.

Here is a map of the area. From the lower left-hand corner of the map to the lower right-hand corner is approximately 520 miles wide.
