erotic_elves is an ADULTS ONLY community that hosts R and NC-17 rated Harry Potter het fanfiction and art. We cover all pairings and genres, as long as they are het in nature. Threesomes are also welcomed, provided two of the three are male and female.
Why only het?
It’s because we felt there was a lack of het communities such as this one. Our sister community is Pornish Pixies (pornish_pixies), which hosts slash only. Please go check them out; there’s lots of great stuff there.
How do I get posting access here?
After much deliberation, we have decided that in order to ensure we maintain the quality of the work here, it’s invitation only. There is no application process. New artists/authors are invited directly by the moderators. Suggestions from current contributors are considered. Please do not email us asking if you can join.
Our suggestion for if you're interested in this community is getting your work out there and getting noticed. Find new livejournal communities in which to post your work. Do some snooping, find out what communities the moderators and members read. Also, we highly recommend you participate in some of the anonymous fic/art exchanges that pop up at different times of the year, such assmutty_claus and wizard_love. We usually search these for new talent.
Do I need to join the community to read fic/look at art and comment?
YES. This community is now friends-locked, which means you must join it in order to read the entries. The difference between watchers who join and our contributing members is that only members have posting access. So just joining the community means that you can read locked posted, but not post here.
But be on the lookout for opportunities for watchers. We sometimes ask for input from our watchers as to what you would like to see more of here, and once a year we hold a fantasy fest in which readers submit prompts for our writers and artists to fulfill.
I want to read/look at work by a particular author/artist! How do I find their stuff?
If you go to the Memories section, you will see each separate member has their own link, under which you can find their work.
