The editor of HARD HATS (Cleis, 2008) is in search of erotic stories about the sexual escapades of the boys of summer.

With their taut, tanned bodies glistening with water and their hair damp from a dip in the ocean, these boys are like sex on surfboards—fast, sleek, and oh, so hot!

When you think about surfing, you probably think of Hawaii first—I know I do, because of my mystery series set there. But there are great waves all around the world, from South Africa to the Jersey shore, Cocoa Beach to Costa Rica. </span></span></span>

Think about a sexy surf instructor on the Mexican coast, a surf star on the circuit in Tahiti, or a movie mogul hitting the waves off LA. Gidget's boyfriend Moondoggie meeting a fellow surfer on the beach for a midnight tryst. The erotic possibilities of wetsuits and rash guards. And don't forget the phallic symbolism of that long, hard board!

If you're looking for inspiration, there are tons of surfing websites, videos and images on line. For example, Wikipedia lists 27 major surf destinations, from Brazil to British Columbia.

Don't let the title mislead you, though; all "boys" must be of legal age.
