NEW EROTIC SHORT STORY COLLECTIONS

As from February 2009 we will be publishing four new collections of erotic short stories. Following four collections of paranormal erotic novellas in 07/08, and the collection of Vampire Erotica in November 2008 (now titled Lust at First Bite: Vampire erotica by Black Lace), we are moving back to themed contemporary erotic short fiction.
Submission guidelines: your short story should be approximately 6,000 words long and not published anywhere in the world - websites excepted. Thematically, it should be written with the Black Lace guidelines in mind.
Obviously you will not be tied to having to provide detailed plot, numerous characters and enough varied types of sex to fill a novel, but the story should be about more than 'some people having sex'. For a good idea of the kind of stories we like, get hold of a Wicked Words compilation. We do not want historical settings and we can only accept stories written for the theme (which, this time around, offers a wide brief). The emphasis is on intensity, daring, imagination, tension, passion, pleasure and what's-at-stake for the main character (female POV please). Extreme perversion and the grotesque should be avoided. We want to position these as suitable for the general reader as well as erotica fans, and will try to get trade promos beyond simply the genre section of bookshops.

Whether coming of age in the city, moving to the city or just visiting, lust, luck and love could be just around the corner. Look, here she comes now and she's got her eye on the country mouse getting off the bus; the girl sitting at the end of the bar; standing in line for basketball tickets; reading at the table for one; loitering in the perfume section... Send me stories that are sweet, kinky, sexy, romantic and/or dangerous, but most of all--hot. All characters must be at least 18.
Stories should be between 2,000 and 4,500 words, double-spaced, 12 pt Times New Roman or Courier New. Please indent the first line of each paragraph one-half inch and do not include extra lines between paragraphs.
Attach your story as a doc or rtf and include the title, pseudonym (if applicable) and your legal name and mailing address to girlsantho@yahoo.com. Subject line should read: Submission: TITLE.
