Okay, I was so excited and delighted to get this one in my mailbox! Yay! Hope you don't mind - I took your note about the color of her horn to heart and tried something different for you...
Fahren is such a gorgeous character. I adore bays, I love non-dainty, rough and tumble unicorns and I have to say, blue eyes on an equine- so there. This one was just incredibly fun to do!!!

There's many reasons why I don't do real media. Scanners don't do any justice, even the good ones, and when the picture looks amateur to begin with, it doesn't help!
Also, your lovely Scylla has such vibrant colours, my selection on pencil crayons just can't beat digital.

Toldja I couldn't hardly wait for emails to be out so I could get to work. XD
I set pencil to paper a split second after hitting "play" on my DVD player's remote...and by the end of the credits for Beowulf it was finished. I LOVE the pose...I just wish the scanner wasn't devouring some details here and there. :P

And here is the lovely Rosa Thunder. I spent much of the past couple weeks experimenting with this pic. I think the unicorn herself came out great but the background failed badly so I erased it after scanning and went with 80's type art.

So like...a year or more ago, my life kinda came appart at the seams. I ended up accidentally stiffing my Chosen One, which...is not cool. So as soon as I started actually having regular access to a computer again, I asked about who I'd been supposed to draw for, so I could do a "make up" picture.
Having access to nothing more sophisticated than MSpaint on my roomie's comp, and with my own comp out of commission ever since the whole life-implosion thing, I had no choice but to try tradmat. :P
And then of course I hit a snag...couldn't scan it, scanner not hooked up.
WELL. Today...I got my scanner to work on my roomie's comp. :D
So! Ungodly late and I do seriously apologise for that, here is DaNeth for Damewindhunde! There is a story to it, please do read that. ;)

I'm so proud. :D Prismacolor markers, white paint, and metallic paint-markers for DaNeth's markings, all on a soft slatey-grey piece of cardstock. I liiiiike this. :D

Well the great news is that not a single person failed to turn in their art for last month! Woo! So there's no adoptables to be listed out. That's awesome you guys! I'm SO proud of you!!
Mails have been sent out, we only had a few sign-up's this month so bear with me if you've drawn anyone before, but I made sure at least that you haven't drawn them for -awhile-. Holly and I have been on a campaign to advertise for our community and I'll be kicking it up a notch to bring in some new folk for next months round. Till then, have fun arting!!
Oh, and Dwelian, I sent yours to your hotmail, if that's not the email you use anymore could you let me know?
Have a great September everyone! The end of this month is my sweeties birthday ;D Anyone else have any birthdays coming up?

A thousand apologies for being a day late! I had every intention of scanning it in yesterday, but that first week of school really sent my head spinning this semester.
For the same reason I won't be participating next month, as much as I would love to. As it is my last full-time semester I don't think I'll have the time to do it until things start winding down in November or even December.

Again, I'm sorry I won't be able to participate next month, but life calls and I really want to finish out strong this last semester. I might be back November, but I'll definitely be back in December. Hope you guys have a good few months and I look forward to returning soon!
